A few months ago I bought a Townes Van Zandt cd,there`s this song called`sanitarium blues`;I would live to hear J cover it;it`s kind of a spoken word with music song. The other night I heard the Walkabouts cover it but I did`nt like how they did it.

Well, I think J can record any Neil Young song and make it great, preferably an acoustic neal tune. Maybe somthing off of harvest even. I mean we can all say J should record a few of the Stooges tunes the fog has been doing live, those are really great. But you know what I’d like to see? I’d like to see J take a sonic youth song off of sister like catholic block, and cover that. I think that’d be cool. Or Youth against facism.

dang, most of the stuffs you guys mentioned are like superunknowns to me
i guess all those tunes are really worth checking out then eh ?
well here’s what i hope J would cover
"Man on a mission" – Bad Religion
it’d be really cool to watch him do a "flanger"/"twanger" song
(what’s that metal piece that Southern / Country musicians-guitarists like to use ?)

Bad Religion`s man on a mission is a good song,my fav BR song is empty causes from the grey race.
Cool to have someone from Malaysia here!

"Misirlou", by Dick Dale – The King of alternative rock covering the King of Surf Guitar.
"All Along the Watchtower" or "Little Wing"- Jimi Hendrix- J covering Jimi would be incredible.
"Kashmir"- Led Zepplin -I don’t know who would sing, but the music would be great.

i’d like to hear him do something by Leonard Cohen. Just because they are both such interesting singers.

Juliana Hatfield did "Raisans" I think J should cover some of her stuff but notch up the guitar action.
or even more strange- J doing some Fugazi!
