I live in Bergen the second largest city in Norway…- very famous for its’ rain. The city is surrounded by seven mountains, but fortunately I do not feel trapped.

Today it’s Sunday and I’ve listened to quite a few songs from different cds like:

Jethro Tull – Heavy Horses
Iron Maiden – Best of the Beast
The Strokes – is this is?

No Dinosaur Jr yet actually

I’ve had Yo La Tengo’s Electr-o-Pura in the jeep for like 2 weeks now. I just can’t take it out. It really is that good. Or maybe I just don’t drive enough to have gotten tired of it yet.

That Payin The Dues double disc is pretty pleasing!!! Listening to the Hellacopters/Flaming Sideburns split White Trash Soul over here
Hellacopters doing a couple of Smokey Robinsons covers, Whole Lot of Shaking & Get Ready as well as a Flaming Sideburns cover Ungrounded Confusion…pretty sweet!!!

Allison

ps That Hives disc is getting a big push over here in Canada which is very cool, three music mags over the last week have had articles/ads etc, caught a video on mm as well…very rare for them to play something cool these days Wayne Kramer is also pushing them on his web site, sees them as the next big thing along with TINC…cool

Inside my computer drive is the enhanced Hellacopters limited edition Flight Case EP. The videos on that disc…WOW definitely guilty pleasure moments Those boys clean up pretty good, and I swear the blonde guitar player has pointy eyebrows Toys and Flavours and Hopeless Case of A Kid In Denial videos…SWEET.
