At the Gates – Slaughter of the Soul. Nothing like a little Swedish Death Metal to get you through eight straight hours of classes.

VF-That Pixies comp is good,I was lucky to find alot of the Pixies cd`s around used, definitely one of my fav bands.Once in a record store, they were blasting Debaser and people were walking out! too funny!
That cool guy from Ohio also got me interested in the Supersuckers who I did`nt pay much attention to before.

The Band–Music From Big Pink

Alexander "Skip" Spence-Oar. This guy was the first drummer for Jefferson Airplane, was a member of Moby Grape, then went crazy and spent 6 months in Bellevue. After he was out, he drove down to Nashville and recorded this album, playing all the instruments himself. Then he rode off to California, was overcome by schizophrenia, and never did much else muscially again. Great one album though.

Chilli’s – By the Way, but only 4 tracks that are annoyingly addicitive. The man could do with a hand with the lyrics though.

Gram Parsons-GP/Grevious Angel-I like the 2 albums on one cd deal, wish it was done more;2 classic albums, what more can I say?the live from Northern Quebec medley was a fake live track,it was actually done in the studio, besides no one in N Quebec would`ve known who Gram Parsons even was in 1973.

Afghan Whigs-Black Love-the Whigs were one of the best bands of the 90`s,everytime I listen to one of their albums I`m amazed at how damn good they were.

Cocteau Twins-BBC Sessions-yeah it has Sugar Hiccup On Cherrios on it Sars, which makes me wanna go skydiving,it has sessions from 1982-84 and some from 1996;they cover a Billie Holiday song on it(Strange Fruit),which is odd for them but it`s as chilling as Billie singing it.

i just done put into my stereo(which BTW has a mind of it’s own) sonic youth on random – goo*raspberry*, dirty*bzzzz*, and exp. jet set, trash and no star.
