      whats with this? on j’s jazzy behind the bridge, whats that for ? or didhe just put it there for fun?

        I think it was to "dampen"…Well help to hold the strings in place as he might have used the stock bridge back in those days.

            if remebering properly j’s first jazzy came with a t.o.m. already in place of a standard fender jaguar/jazzmaster bridge, though i could be wrong.

              hmm i’ve some close up pictures of his first jm and it was the standard bridge. maybe he swapped it back?
