I missed MAGGOT BRAIN, KEEBLIN’ and OUT THERE.
Maggot brain, what a great cover with an impressive and deep solo. I still can’t believe he hold it for about twelve mins. Unbelievable!!!

March 14, 2001 at 5:03 pm #60924My favorite J solos from a dino or J album:
Ammaring
Get Me
So What Else is New
On the Brink March 16, 2001 at 11:43 am #60925Really, get me is where it’s at. I’ve learned to play the first two solos, but that third, it’s still a little beyond me. Others:
What evers cool with me
Drawerings
Feel the pain
Keeblin
Not a studio track, but on the feel the pain single, J just solos for the entire song, and still keeps in interesting for all 5 and a half minutes, amazing.March 19, 2001 at 3:56 am #60926This question is just as bad as trying to name a favourite song but I will have to go with Alone (the old goosebump solo), Maggot Brain (for the enormity of it, and I like the organ too), and on More Light it would have to be I’m Not Fine. But it’ll probably be different when I wake up tomorrow anyway.
March 26, 2001 at 8:08 pm #60927I agree with you Sawats! I love Thumb, but Ill have to add Alone and GEt Me to that!
April 2, 2001 at 8:01 pm #60928Easy but great question…
Get me.
However, the solo that kicks off Grab It really gets me pumped. I also really feel the solo on I Dont Think.
Such great stuff its hard to pick – but those are the ones that jump out!
April 4, 2001 at 11:36 am #60929My favourites are: the last solo on Alone. After the real soft part the guitar just comes rolling in. Also at Bizarre the work he does there with his Wah-Wah in Alone is just amazing.
Second is Maggot Brain. To keep an instrumental song like this one intersting for 12 minutes is just amazing, it’s what makes him better than others. You can really hear the development in his solo’s. These two songs are two very good examples.Olaf
May 14, 2001 at 4:09 pm #60930Why has no-one mentioned Kracked?
the way the guitar comes wailing in just sends a shiver down my spine every single time.
definitely my fave.
