The show is not as bad as Touched By An Angel, but about half the episodes are tug on the heart type things.

Boris Becker, not the young gangly guy who won Wimbeldon but when he reached about twenty two…WOW. I remember lots of girls having the hots for Kirk (way too girly for me though). I also remember, the day after Jon Bon Jovi got married, standing on the lunch line at the cafeteria and seeing all these girls crying. It was really pretty funny, especially since I never dug him either.

Actually, in the line of your Bon Jovi deal, and in relation with Eddie Vedder. Back when Mr Vedder got married, a lot of my female friends had similar moods to the girls in your cafeteria experience. One girl I knew refused to listen to Pearl Jam from that point on, it was ‘too painful’. And this was in highschool! [img]images/smiles/converted/eek.gif[/img] I thought it to be pretty silly…
It’s kinda mean, but after that, every time I was in a situation where I’d be hangin out with her, I’d arrange for some PJ to be playing in the background. Of course she’d always ask me to turn it off, and I would. After awhile she started to get better about it, don’t know if it was cause I was exposing her to it or if she was just getting over it on her own though.
I’m usually a nice guy, but them devil horns are know to show from time to time. I’ll have to tell you folks about the time my cousin and I rigged an entire beach cottage with those little door popper things (the ones that have a string on each end and go *KAPOW!!* when you pull on both ends). Had my sister and her friend afraid to touch anything. [img]images/smiles/converted/biggrin.gif[/img]
About the whole celeb thing, I never really got into it. Always kept my crushes on a local level. Always figured celebs to be unobtainable. I can be awfully logical in some respect. I saw him on Conan too!! Was very excited when Conan finished the monologue– "…and sitting in with the Max Weinberg 7 tonight, you know him from the legendary band Guns n’ Roses…" woo-hoo! It took me back to 7th grade or so. [img]images/smiles/converted/smile.gif[/img] And might I say, he still looks damn good.
I’ll have to leave the blonds for Allison; only blond I ever really liked was Kiefer Sutherland…the pointy eyebrows….oooooooo
That was dreadful of you to torture your friend like that…but then again, pretty lame of her to stop listening to a band because the singer got married.
