Witch album

do you think i’ll like the album if i’m not very interested in heavy metal?

i was thinking about buying it just for the awesome album cover

It’s so awesome, the cover was drawn by Kyle Thomas too, which is also awesome.

yea its a great record, i bet a lot of dinosaur jr fans would like this record. It’s like stoner rock without any boring parts.

i wouldn’t consider it hair metal. more stoner/psych. when i hear hair metal i think poison and cinderella. i have the album, it’s pretty awesome, but i’m into that type of music. if you like Dead Meadow (which I highly recommend) I think you’ll like it. Witch sounds somewhat like them, but heavier.

I thought Dead Meadow was really cool live but haven’t found myself listening to the CD I bought very much. Sort of find it boring. I might still pick up Witch, I do generally like this type of music and J on drums is an added bonus.

J is an excellent drummer, guitarist, songwriter, what more could you ask for?

Witch is a lot more high energy than what Dead Meadow is, I think you’ll find it easier and more exciting to listen to.

I have seen them live 3 times and just heard the album last night and it was sick. J does some really nasty drumming in parts and the guitars sound cool it is hard to have J there and hear that sound and not have him be playing the guitar but its still cool.
