um, over the past 2 weeks ive sent numerous emails to Witch, J’s managment and whoever runs the J mascis website asking if this show is happening. no tickets are on sale anywhere, ive gotten ZERO repsonses from anyone and the wesleyan music dept site doesnt have this show listed. the band opening that night for Witch, The Believers, also doesnt have this show listed on thier schedule….now my buddy tells me on Witchs myspace the show has been taken off thier schedule

i didnt go see them at the iron horse last month specifically cause this show was listed and it was closer to me, plus one of thurston moores side band was supposed to open for the weslyan date…. if this show is cancelled, i am one very disappointed Witch fan
funny, I just left a notice about this in the "J/Dino live section" the same exact time you posted here. sorry for the bad news.
Just got a confirmation from J that it was cancelled. The promoter never came up with the money apparently.

Dino played Toad’s in New Haven in ’97 on the Hand It Over tour, but I think that’s the last time he’s played in CT — almost a decade!
Hey all Connecticut Dinosaur Jr fans. As much as I love our state, bands do not like us. I don’t really like the people around here, but I really don’t like people. but I love the land here. Seeing Dinosaur at Toads Place and Western CT State ccollege with Naughty By Nature was great! Every show at Toads was packed and everyone was very enthusiastic- Come back to CT!

Long time no see. In answer to your question, I guess it happens when the musicians need more money
than the promoter has been able to generate, but that is only a guess.
