oh yeah, almost 4-got…
Hey!
Those late nite thrills are catching on here in a big way. Italian cultural centre is staying open all nite, every nite so people can catch the games with their pals. Later this month couple Italian bars down the street will be doing the same, when their teams win they peel up and down the street waving flags from the cars and honking the horns…even in the early am <img> <img>

Pretty excited about the U.S.’s play although the S. Korea game was disappointing <img>

Good luck to all of your remaining teams!!!Been off work watching the football – come on Ingerlund! Good work, by the US team too, hope they go marching on. Boring game today, but at least we went through – got horribly drunk for the Ireland match yesterday and ended up an almost mugging victim whilst asleep on the tube home. Got arrested whilst fighting the mugger, and locked up for the night – no justice in this country.
So the Argies are out (praise be) and the French. Have a feeling that there could be an outside winner this year, but my head still says brazil or italy.
There used to be a time that I could pick a winner. My thoughts about this mundial were: Argentina and France. Ofcourse I ment: these teams are the first to be kicked out! <img>
I loved Danmark yesterday. Four chances and two goals while the frogs had two balls on the toplayer. BTW its nice to see these matches in the openair at an nice Greek taverna.

the would be mugger claimed that I had attacked him on the tube. this is true, but only because I awoke to find his hands in my pockets.
Thanks for asking though Allison, but I am fine apart from a cut and bruise on my head, and that the cops want me to go back in on Saturday (when we are playing Denmark!!??) to make a "cohesive" statement. God only knows what I said on Tuesday night.
Anyway, come on England and Ireland. Failing that, I think I’ll be supporting the US (if they go through) and Mexico – been very impressed with them so far.

Hey Javro, that story sucks, hope you manage to convince the cops, I think the cops and you can spend your time in a better way by enjoying the England game, and celebrating an England win (and getting quite drunk) afterwards…..

Looks like the US has knocked Mexico out as well. Roll on Friday am – England vs (probably) Brazil in the QF’s.
