My computer. Digital. Every piece of music I have is on my computer. Accessible from anywhere in the world over an internet connection. Some 800+ albums. I wouldn’t have it any other way.

And I love the ipod as well :)

      And I love Amarok http://amarok.kde.org”>http://amarok.kde.org

      And I love last.fm

What´s Amarok ? The connection timed out when I tried your link.
I would love to say that I love lastfm, because I dig the concept, but since the music I´ve got on my computer is flac bootlegs and I have to use mac amp lite x to play them it doesn´t do me much good. I´ve tried to get lastfm to recognise/scrobble the music I play in mac amp, but that´s a big no no so far. And that sucks.

Amarok is an audio player for Linux.

There is a program called XMMS originally for linux, which has been ported to mac. It looks like winamp, and will play flacs on the mac os.
There’s also a program called PureMusic which will play the flacs on mac os

Neat, do you think there´s a chance of lastfm recognising/scrobbling files played on that one ?

Thanks for the info Anthony !

I don’t know. There are macos groups on last.fm, I’m sure they’d be able to help more than I can.

nice, I´ll prod around there for a while to see if I can find something out. For all I know the problem can be that lastfm doesn´t recognise flac file, regardless what os being used.

last.fm recognizes anything you can throw at it. The files only need ID3 tags for last.fm to know what they are (artist/track name)

Then it´s got to be the mac amp that´s causing the problem, cause I can open a file in the dreaded itunes -and it´s recognised, but if I open the same file in mac amp lite x -el zilcho.
