      Quote:
A reference to "You’re Living All Over Me," the 1987 sophomore album by seminal American indie rock band Dinosaur Jr., this group art show features an eclectic array of works by artists who were inspired by J Mascis and band. Gallery curator Dan Johnson came up with the show while watching the Alien Workshop skate video "Mind Field," which features footage of Mascis skating, along with a few songs by Dinosaur Jr. Johnson realized at that moment that the band has had a huge influence on so many artists, skaters and musicians over the past two decades, and he decided to make a show around that theme. He asked participating artists to turn in a piece, in a medium of their choice, that interpreted their favorite Dinosaur Jr. song or experience. Artists include Alissa Anderson, Chris Baird, Mat O’Brien, Amy Jo Diaz, Tomo Yasuda, Andrew Scott and many others.

      Reception 7-9:30 p.m. Fri. Through July 19. Lake Gallery, 661 Divisadero St., S.F. http://www.lakegallerysf.com.
