5 reason why I love Conan O’Brien
1. He’s really tall and looks like he is a polygamist housewife from Texas
2. His hair has its own gravitaional pull
3. He once saved a dolphin from a gang of nasty school children who were poking him with a stick
4. He then trained said dolphin to make enchiladas
5. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-J7fSt4vB24 -J7fSt4vB24

Javro is cooler but Conan does have a cool name without being a barbarian

July 28, 2009 at 3:47 pm #120194He’s so silly! I like when he throws a snowball and hits the back of someone’s car, puts his hands behind his back and walks away.
Oh my…I need to go see if I can find a clip of his Walker Texas Ranger lever…*edited to include awesomeness!!!

August 26, 2009 at 5:24 pm #120198`60s songwriter Ellie Greenwich died today at age 69
She and husband Jeff Barry wrote some classic rock and roll tunes, alot of girl group stuff.Neko Case revived their Train From Kansas City in her setlist in the last few years.
This is my favorite tune that she co wrote:(it was also covered by Blondie)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xRCWnfMAmqE xRCWnfMAmqE

The Shins covered that song actually
Rock*A*Teens was his previous band.Tenement Halls is his newer project though I think only one record has come from that.
September 15, 2009 at 9:32 pm #120201Out of the 12 million and three songs you’ve mentioned before this is actually one that I’ve heard of.
Granted, I heard The Shins cover first and then went in search of the original but I still feel like we should do a jumping up and down happy dance together and play this song while we do!September 16, 2009 at 7:33 am #120202"girl" wrote:Out of the 12 million and three songs you’ve mentioned before this is actually one that I’ve heard of.

I highly recommend The Rock*A*Teens albums.BABY A LITTLE RAIN MUST FALL and GOLDEN TIME are the two best(both on Merge records).SWEET BIRD OF YOUTH is good too but it`s got alot of songs so it lacks some consistency.ROCK*A*TEENS and CRY(on the Daemon label)are their first two records, they have their gems but they had`nt totally hit their stride yet. This band should`ve gotten alot of attention but instead they fell into obscurity.Tenement Halls` KNITTING NEEDLES AND BICYCLE BELLS is recommended too -
