See SonicD’s default pic? That’s the Big Muff I have right now. I’ll be looking for the older ones for sure. Jimi Hendrix had a really good one too.

Do you remember Celebrity Deathmatch on MTV? The theme song had a really good example of the fuzz that I am looking for as well.

Tonas, I like your quote from "The Wagon." Can you guess which song my quote is from?

Yeah, I like most kinds of music except for the snot-nosed crap that’s popular on the radio.

Hrmmm. Been playing guitar, both accoustic, electric and some bass for about 11 years and I still suck at lead. There are people that have only played guitar for 2 or 3 years that can play lead MUCH better than me, so I’ve pretty much stuck with rythym with "litte riffs." heheh.

You’re expecting to get fuzz out of a Lo-Fi Loop Junky? ???

I’ve read that you can. Whether it involves a separate fuzz pedal altogether or not, I don’t know.

Yeah, J’s fuzz is very unique to me. My electro-harmonix Big Muff just doesn’t cut it. However, when I visit my father (who is a music junky too), he has some sort of mini-amp. Can’t remember what it’s called, but one of the effects, sounds JUST LIKE "HEAVEN!" Not the song, heheh. The fuzz effect sound just like J’s fuzz in the intro to "Alone" from Hand It Over. When I go visit my pop, I’m going to be recording some songs I’ve made, and I’ll be relentless at that fuzz effect. *cold chill*

heheh. Guess I need a Marshal amp for starters.

Yeah man, that’s awesome. Pop-rock that’s played REALLY LOUD, even to the point you can hardly hear the vocals is usually my favorite. It’s the melodies that always hit me on a soul-level, so to speak. Do you play guitar at all? Piano will work to for what I’m talking about, but do you get any kind of emotional (I’m not talking neurotic, LOL) reaction if you were to play chords like C…. FMaj7…. and then Em? That’s just one of my examples. :)

Do you have a favorite Dino Jr or J Mascis + the Fog song?

what about They Always Come? I don’t think i’ve ever found a tab for that.

Yeah man, I’ve never seen tabs for "They Always Come." As far as the verses and chorus go, I think it’s something like: G D Em C B7 C B7 C…. and then the chorus is A D (of course there are side riffs, that I know how to play, but I don’t know how to tab it) and then C D. The bridge is Asus2 A D (or DMaj7) Bm D A, and by the end of the song you’re holding on AMaj7.

Hey, thanks for the welcome 8). Yeah, I loved hearing Dino for the first time and haven’t been able to live without ever since. Well, I think I made it pretty clear that Dino and J + the Fog are by far my favorites. What other bands to I like? hrmmm. Lets see, depends on my mood and it varies. Some examples of other bands I like would be (these are not in any order and this list does not cover all that I like):

                          Jim Croce
                          The Mindbenders
                          Danzig
                          Misfits
                          Black Sabbath
                          Superchunk
                          Guided By Voices
                          Lemonheads
                          Eagles
                          Beatles
                          Mamas & the Papas
                          Weezer
                          Smashing Pumpkins
                          Teenage Fanclub
                          Supergrass
                          Jesus & Mary Chain
                          Flogging Molly
                          Sebadoh
                          Wilco

                          heheh.

Hey, do you think maybe the intro starts out: C D Bm C C D G instead of starting with C? Otherwise, PERFECT!!
