well, that’s an honest opinion.

I think everybody has money as a motivating factor with reunions, don’t see a problem with it at all. I expect to be paid well for my time at work, hopefully they’re making tons of cash… ;D

not a fan of sting so find this funny, although Weller played a song with Noel Gallagher just prior to this incident, maybe that contributed to his bad mood… :o ;)

Quote:
Instead, Weller took his aggression out on a photo of Sting that was hanging on a wall at the venue. According to England’s Mirror newspaper, he "marched straight up to it [the photo], coughed-up as much phlegm as he could muster and planted it plum in the middle of The Police frontman’s head… as he walked away, Weller then snarled: ‘Fucking twat!’"

Weller apparently has a major dislike of the lute and tantric sex afficionado, as NME.com attributed this recent quote about Sting to him:

"He’s a fucking horrible man. Not my cup of tea at all. Fucking rubbish. No edge, no attitude, no nothing."

well they didn’t have the strange loop book, had to order it in so picked up This Is Your Brain on Music by Daniel Levitin. Breaks down why we love the music we do from a cognitive psychology/neuroscience perspective…

Images from an experiment to locate the neural regions of the brain involved in listening to music. Daniel Levitin and another scientist scanned the brains of 13 people as they listened to scrambled and unscrambled versions of a tune.

from the guardian…

Quote:
But a handful of bands have successfully transferred their live reunion momentum into the studio. Take That are one. Another, it seems, are Dinosaur Jr. In 2005, the US indie rockers toured with their original line-up for the first time since 1989. In May, they’re releasing the album Beyond. Two tracks are available now at pitchforkmedia.com. Almost Ready is a rousing college rock stomper, which proves the band can still match full-tilt guitar noise with J Mascis’ breezy melodies. Even better is the pretty, countrified twang of the bittersweet We’re Not Alone. Forty-something slacker rock never sounded so good.
