Glad your here on this BBS, always nice to have people with similar tastes…love Bob Mould but also prefer Grant’s voice. Just saw Grant in April…absolutely amazing I was completely awestruck. Small amp, semi acoustic guitar under purple and yellow lights singing his heart out…WOW!!!

Let us know how the show goes, your set included for sure!!! Hope you get together with some other freakscene people at the gig…definitely good people with excellent taste.

Definitely not defensive just love them all, some more than others but just don’t have a category for least fav dino/J songs…it doesn’t exist in my opinion.

The song Poledo would count if J had anything to do with it….didn’t so doesn’t count.

Just picked myself up off the floor, Bob Mould warming up for a J Mascis show….doesn’t get much better than that!!!

Prepare to be amazed, J just keeps getting better and better. You should check out some of the recent live shows on the site as a warm up for the show…very cool.

Asheton is one of my fav guitar players but I agree turning the Fog into a Stooges cover group isn’t going to happen. This has been a pretty long tour for Mascis, gotta wonder if having Asheton on the tour is kind of a keep it interesting type thing. They definitely seem thrilled to be playing with him…and who can blame them. Pretty thrilling though to see it, don’t forget to check out the hbo webcast on the 19th..should be amazing.

So you thought I was messing with you, trying to freak you out… …hehe. I was pretty shocked the 1st time I heard about Bob Mould writing for the WCW as well, I don’t think it lasted all that long though. Should be an interesting show, I will let you know if anything big happens.

Holiday to nowhere,hmm any type of holiday is a good one!! I start mine Monday am at 0730..not that I’m counting or anything .
