Hey,
The interview was pretty cool, definitely worth the pain of tuning in to much music.
They showed a couple of brief clips from the radio interview in Toronto..Same Day. Also showed a couple of live clips from the show in Toronto…Same Day & The Wagon. Interviewed all 3 but George just basically smiled and laughed thru the interview. Mascis talked about playing with GG Allin….quite the story….ick!!! Watt talked about his touring history…" I dig it I feel like a sailor". He also talked about his illness and thanked The Stooges for helping him thru that time….what a cool guy. They showed the address of Watts tour diary which was cool. Mascis was joking how his diary would be…"It would be about 2 sentences…uhhhh…oh yeah, went to wendy’s…got a baked…".
Rest of the show was ok, Bjork interview and Naardwar interviewing some old metal guy Thor…scary though they showed a couple of Metal Zombies…not a good thing.
Only beef is they didn’t show the address for freakscene.net…..bums!!!

Hey,
The big show is tomorrow…Mascis and The Fog with Ron Asheton hope somebody Out There will post a set list. Maybe you’ll get lucky and see J on the skins…as per Watt that already happened in Ann Arbor so chances are good.

Hey Apache,
You definitely have to go, 4 amazing guitar players all in the same city….dream come true. Brian James ex of The Damned is part of Mad For The Racket, he is one of my fav guitar players of all time. Can you imagine J Mascis, Ron Asheton, Brian James, and Wayne Kramer…..Texas does not know what it is in for. Have fun and definitely tape those shows!!!

Hey Apache,
Make the trip is all I can say, does sound amazing. Would be very cool if somebody Out There would post that show, cannot even begin to imagine how pleasing that show would be. Wonder if Rock will show to play the skins for a song or two…could it get any better than that, I doubt it. Although if they played Meet The Creeper by Destroy All Monsters that would definitely be the ultimate.
Allison
ps could be a Real Cool Time in Texas, just heard one of Wayne Kramers projects Mad For The Racket are kicking off their tour on March 17th…not bad.

Hey antipop,
I 2nd what Jasper said, just don’t play Purr from Dirty on the road can lead to dangerous acceleration….don’t think you would have the fluffy white snow to buffer the crash that I landed in so be careful!!!
Allison
ps all I meant was try not to take things so seriously….hope you had a funtime at the gig. Sorry….working nites and it feels like my brain is melting ahhhh

Hey DFK,
If you get to check out live365 for the Bob Mould station don’t forget to search the rest of their stations. None will beat Jeremiah’s stuff but there are some pretty cool stations…Cavern Radio..Stones Yardbirds, Kinks and Animals. As well they have a pretty cool Phil Spector station, Spectropop. Tons of alt/punk stations as well, so good luck.

Hey,
You know I never ever thought I would say this but Texas sounds like it would be a pretty cool place to be in March. Interested in the rest of the shows as well….please come back to Minneapolis..that would be so cool. Just picked up a CD of one of Ashetons bands post Stooges, Destroy All Monsters/Bored, had some stuff on vinyl but this is pretty great stuff to have on disc!! Meet the Creeper, November 22, Nobody Knows are amazing tunes.
Thanks for the info, gotta love this site!!
Allison
