Good for you! See you at the show!
Hey.. Don’t feel bad..
I am sure that you will get the chance to see them one way or another.. Look for me and tap me on the shoulder if I walk by..
You will be surprised at what might happen..
I have tickets for the Memphis show. I was not aware that it was an 18+ show.
I thought it was 21+ actually..
Not all Memphis people are dicks.
I’m pretty much planning my life around these shows. I told my students that there will be no class on the day after the Memphis show. Anything for dino..
If you have never been to Young Avenue Deli, it is really worth it to see them there. It is a TINY space and you are sure to be really close to the stage.
Oh, well thank you!

Hi,
I’m very sorry to have to tell you that this is a cover of David Bowie’s "Quicksand", released 1971 on the album "Hunky Dory". So this is for shure not about Uma Thurman and also not written by J.
I know that there is no note about it in the "Whatever’s Cool With Me"-E.P., but here’s a link to proof it:(track 6)
Regards
FelixThanks Felix, but you are telling me nothing new. I already knew that this was a David Bowie song. However, I don’t believe the "Uma" and "Cindy" references are in the Bowie song, right? Maybe I am wrong about that part.. No time to check at the moment..
We have that video but I guess I don’t remember that part..
That was great. I especially liked the part about Sonic Youth’s "Teenage Riot" being written about J..
Honestly, as far as the whole Uma issue goes, I would hate to think of J pining over a skinny model-type anyways..
When my husband and I had just started dating, he had to go away for a few months to a recording workshop in Ohio. He left me with a mix tape of songs, one of which was Sideways. This song will always be meaningful for me.
My husband, who knows waaay more about this than me, has always said the same thing about J and Uma in high school. It is all just mysterious though.. Was there something more to it?

You should make the "sooty Lou" pic into a dinosaur holiday card for all the fans. It sort of keeps with the whole Santa theme..
Yes, you are all right.
Okay, you are right.
