In return does anyone want to give me one of their four download keys?!‘Where You Been’ is my all time favorite record…I hope they have returned to it’s sounds!!!!!
That’s awesome! I would get worked up about that too!
It reminds me of the handwritten lyrics to "On the Run" that I have framed above my desk.
…at least he admits in the comments that HE is the clown…
…and throws in a quick Sonic Youth and Neil Young reference to make it seem like he’s down.
..Yeah LOL he’s a Van Halen fan: PANAMA AHH AH UH!I also like the new line-up throw the 16 year old son on Bass. He must have gotten a good report card!
thanks for calling me stupid…little-boy-mind-glow- Its always entertaining, so please do look for me at the shows, so we can discuss intelligence levels face-to-face.

The post worked. Thanks again!
What is wrong with me? Not having the music…pretty simple.
I will buy it and probably several copies as I have bought each album numerous times (vinyl, cassette, cd, lost it, bought it again, mp3)
…and I will be at the Chicago, Milwaukee, Indiana shows buying merch as I have since I was 12. (I’m 30 now) I have so much Dino j merch its silly.Anyway, thanks again to those who helped me get ‘Beyond’ see you at the shows…
Jeremiah or Mods feel free to delete the thread.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY J!!
Thanks for all the music over the years.
Your music has been my favorite from the first time I heard it 11 years ago -to this very day. I was the guy standing right in front of you at the Dec. 1st Chicago show but I was too awe-struck to say anything. I remember the Lollapalloza crowds and many, many Dinosaur Jr gigs and to be that close was amazing. THANK YOU! I am buying everyone J cds for the Holidays… You rock! and you are the source of inspiration for countless people. I hope your birthday is wonderful. I look forward to the next Chicago gig. I’ll be there… I always am.-R.

Hello everyone. I just read the reviews and wanted to throw in my own 2 cents. I managed to be the guy standing directly in front of J. I was right against the stage. (sorry I know my girlfriend and I are tall -we had on the Independent gear-) but I couldn’t resist. J was amazing. The broken guitar string seemed to change the nights mood in my opinion and the crying drunk girl next to me having a violent spaz attack more than dampered my good time. Did anyone notice that J had the lyrics to "On the Run" written down on a piece of paper at his feet? After J stepped down the first time my girlfriend swiped it up. Its totally J’s handwritting. Should make for quite the conversation piece! I am going to get it framed. If anyone wants to swap photos or recordings of the show…ryanatkins@hotmail.com Just shoot me a message! I’d love to hear from you! All in all the show was intimate and very fun.
I got offered that Tamale too!

Good point, salamiguy. Beauty truly is in the eye of the beholder.
"Where You Been", for me, is far and away my favorite album of all time. I have been listening to it for years and I have never once gotten tired of it or never not wanted to put it in and either drive or chill to it. It is the only album that has survived the test of time. I am now 25 yrs old and I got when it came out. I think I was like 14. Think about that. That is freaking crazy. I am a totally different person now from when I was 14 *points to BMW* but still after all those phases, events and still -it rocks my world. I buy it for people and give it out like candy. Not everyone finds "Where You Been" to be so life changing as I have. Every time I buy a J /FOG/JR album I’m looking for those loud guitars, the never ending solos, the power and grace that is "Where You Been" It hasn’t been recreated yet and although I like everything else by J -man to have a real follow up to "Where You Been" For one it would sell like hot cakes and two I think the majority of us Dino/J/Fog fans would have another rallying point. J I know you read this stuff, Man hook it up! -The Drums, the Guitars, the Power!
