I’m listening to…
a local band from Cincinnati called Thistle the song is (Oxygen) Check them out at Thistlewired.com These guys opened up for J and the Fog when J played in Cincinnati.Another "local" band I’m listening to now is Moth. They have a video and song (I see Sound) out that is getting some play on MTV2 that you may or/not have see.
Allison……….Sorry to say I didn’t make it to see Trail of Dead yesterday. I need to conserve the funds so I can make the trip down south to TN to see J play next month.

Hi Allison,
Trail of Dead is playing in Columbus, OH at the Newport Center tomorrow night and I’m really wanting to go. If I do go I’ll do my best to describe what goes down. Later, ChrisI have to agree with everyone that AG tends to piss me off at times.
I do have a question that may seem too obvious but I’ll as it anyway. Since I joined the Freakscene group on AG I receive songs that I didn’t request, is this because the other members of AG are sending it to me? Just curious if someone could confirm or not.

Since I’m still only learning it seemed like the thing to get. If I get three cords right I’m happy so it serves me well for now. If I get better I’ll try for something else down the road. What, no Rollins Band?
Hank and the boys put out some real ear crushers during the 90’s.This is funny as hell. I think I just had a flash back to 1980 and playing Pong with my brother on an old game controler we found at a yard sale.
Nice find. ChrisStaingirl,
You are going to really like the show. On a few songs J loops the main cords of the song. So during the song he will trigger the cord to play and he will also switch on the distortion or delay or both while he plays the solo. This will blow you away. J was great in Columbus OH this week.Later, Chris
jeremiah – you da Man!
Thanks for your much needed help. I’ll bookmark Google for sure. Yahoo seemed to be of no assistance this time for some reason.

Thanks, Chris
Henry Rollins for sure…if you ever see a show live you know what I mean. It looks like the man is going to bust a vain any second.
I have to also agree with kweezy
Rob Halford-Judas Priest
Tom Araya-Slayer…every song seems like he gets louder when he plays live and since almost all the songs they play he is screaming that is kind of impressive.I curious as to what J thinks about Thurston Moore being ranked higher then him? Not that I’m trying to start anything at all, but i am just curious. I know J and Moore have worked on stuff together and am wondering if they just kind of laugh it off and feel honored to be on the list at all or if it really doesn’t matter to them at all. I would also be curious about what J thinks about the list in general, if he thinks someone should be on it that is overlooked…as so many people are.
Hi suicidaldream,
I was at the last show in Columbus when J and the Fog played at Little Brother’s, and two bands opened up before him but they had been listed on the web page. I would say double check by calling if you are able to. i’ll be at this show as well. Chris I’ll just comment that I have not seen a female name listed on a tab that I have viewed that I can remember. I do have to say as a very early learner of the guitar that the tab is at least a start for us to hear certain notes and cords. As I spend more time with my guitar I am learning that I can hear and figure out things for my self, but it is very slow process and Does get frustrating very quickly.
As far as female guitarist…..Please ladies I can’t urge you enough to play! Chicks Rock on stage and I would love to see a lady really through down a kick ass solo any time!
Anything Michael Bolton does…think about it. The guy won a grammy for "Dock of the Bay" and didn’t give any props to Otis Redding for the great song.
Really great photos. Wish I could have made this one a reality.
Please if anyone can share audio/video please consider it since this was a once in a life time kind of thing.
Very Cool,
I know I’ll make it to the show at Columbus, OH Little Brother’s. It is a really cool little bar. I’ll also do my best to see one of the show in the great state of IL.I’ll be holding the FreakScene members sign so we can all meet each other.
J ROCKS!!
