Excellent. Finally got a purple cow T shirt at Koko last night. Shame it doesn’t have the gorilla on the back anymore though.

Damn damn damn. Missed this. Anyone see it? What songs did they do?
My 14 month old daughter managed to press the record button for 5 seconds half way through my recording of Mountain Man from the Download Festival coverage as well.

Aah OK. That explains it then cos I couldn’t remember them doing Chunks and thought I must have been going mad. Bugger, thats a damn shame that I had to leave after Don’t, only missed one song but seems like it was a great, great ending to the gig.

Did anyone notice if they were filming? I didn’t see any cameras but I would be surprised if such a one off gig wasn’t officially taped – if only for posterity rather than commercial gain. How great would it be for them to release the whole gig as a bonus disc with the forthcoming official DVD? Anyone know a release date for that by the way?

Also finally got hold of a purple cow shirt after many years of trying. Shame it doesn’t have the Big G gorilla on the back anymore. Still you can’t have EVERYTHING.

By the way, the support guy was called Alexander Tucker. I liked his set although I can understand that it perhaps went on a bit too long. There was however, in my opinion, very little need for people to shout "bollocks" after each track he did. If its not your cup of tea then go to the bar!

That idiot shouting during Poledo was the only downer on a fantastic night.

For those of you with confused memories, it went like this:

            Kracked

Lou tells us all to go home. Â We refuse. Â He makes a crack about the Red Hot Chili Peppers playing Blood Suger Mirror Man Music here tomorrow. Â "You all need to go to bed. Â It’s your favourite album, right".

J returns: "We played the album what else are we supposed to do". Â Dinosaur launch into a fantastic four part encore…

Last night was a lesson in not leaving before the house lights come up…Â Felt sorry for those with last trains to catch…

Absolutely correct. I hung on and hung on even though I had to get to Waterloo for 23:50 to get a train back to darkest Twickenham and caught "Don’t" before thinking I had to leave. Still thought they might do one more after Don’t as I could hear someone shouting through the mic on stage as I left.

Does anyone know a possible release date for this? Hopefully before October so Mrs Durly can buy it for my birthday.
Wonder if they’ll record the YLAOM show at Koko in August.
Agree, one disc with old and new stuff and another disc with an entire show from the current tour would be excellent.

I’m already going to the Mudhoney (Superfuzz Bigmuff) and Lemonheads (It’s A Shame About Ray) ones. Tempted by the Stooges one too, but already seen then once this year (in Barcelona!) and they played most of Funhouse then.

And now extremely tempted by the Dinosaur Jr one – trying to talk myself out of it ‘cos they played most of YLAOM at the forum and am very broke at the moment but I don’t think I’m gonna be able to resist …

Just got a ticket for YLAOM. Very tempted by Mudhoney, lemonheads and The Stooges as well but cash may prevent me going to those.

I’m sure most of you already know this but I just saw the purple dino cow t-shirt for sale at the store on the dinosaur jr. website. I don’t think it has the monkey on the back but is still cool none the less. I wonder if they will be selling them and the monster t-shirt at the concerts.

Was at The Forum show last night and they were selling both the cow and monster shirts. Desperately wanted the cow one but am currently at one of those "can’t get any cash from the bank" phases til pay day. Excellent news that it is available on the web. Not sure if the ones they were selling at the show had the monkey on the back though.
FANTASTIC show as well by the way.
