I agree with you that most psychedelic experiences are best in small groups but festivals and shows are another place. I’m not the type who would take a psychedelic and just go to the club or some shit but Dinosaur Jr. hits me on a soul note and seeing them trippin would be just like heaven. And as far as the two story tall birds I call bullshit that sounds more like Dramamine or PCP than L.

Green Mind is an amazing album I don’t see how anyone could hate it. I love everything by Dino but if I were held up at gunpoint and forced to pick 20 favorites they would be deez. nutz

Dinosaur Jr. has always been able to come with a bad ass opening track. “Pieces” is definitely a throwback song like Gumball said. “Friends” and “Ocean In the Way” are amazing as well. This whole album is perfect even that one filler track at the beginning. Dinosaur’s always had the perfect sound that’s what makes them legend. Farm just showed us that the legends haven’t gone anywhere and likely aren’t anytime soon(hopefully).
