well it is really a whole show of shitty bands. iam not even remotely into this new version of "metal". but my good friend had tickets to a metal gig and i didn’t want to just leave him to go alone so i went with and it was fucking terrible.

there was a little known metal group called "the confession" or some shit. then "sky" and then "avenged sevenfold".
it was all terrible. just some ass who screams the lyrics at the top of their lungs and a drummer who can only use the double bass pedal, a guitar player doing the same solo every time, and a bass player that iam not even sure is really playing their bass.
thats how every single one of the bands were, terrible.

i also saw van halen when it was van hagar and sammy hagar is nothing like david lee roth. iam not a huge fan but i can appreciate some of their classics. plus their kinda funny.

The likely reason the club’s not giving you a straight answer, is they don’t want to be quoted as saying "it’s okay" – since their club license (or somethingrather) says they can only let people in over 18 if they’ll be serving alcohol (a stupid but common rule in the US). And you’re (let me guess) 16 or 17? Well, do all people your age have drivers licenses? No, right? And, you wouldn’t need to prove your age for any real reason yet… so just say you’re 18 at the door… or better yet, just say "under 21" or "not drinking" and stick your wrists out for the X’s. There’s no law that says you NEED and ID. And I can’t imagine them demanding a copy of your birth certificate at the door. If they DO, then just linger around the band’s bus and ask Lou or Murph (J might be more of a challenge to initiate conversation with) and they SHOULD be able to help (at least get your name on some list at the door with the help of their tour manager). But all in all, I bet you’ll be fine if you just present your ticket, not look nervous, and say something brief like "how’s it goin’" to the door person. If they give you trouble, say "I’m 19". Just remember, the real challenge is getting in shows that are 21+, when you’re underage.

i will try that, it makes sense. do you really think that i’d be able to find their bus and one of them would actually do that? that be mighty righteous of them. If they didn’t let me in i’d be pissed because that is a bit of a haul to get their from cincinnati to not be let in.
maybe i could just ask lou himself on his forum? nah i don’t wanna annoy him.

i normally hate alone but, but it sounded alot better without all the drums and stuff. the distortion made it much more interesting. i dunno why i hate the one on the album so much though.

It might change but i don’t think i will ever take ylaom out of the number one spot.
beyond sounds like an instant classic. dinosaur has some very good tunes on there. green mind was the first dino cd i ever heard and i loved it. bug is my least favorite of the first three because it just doesn’t sound as exciting and interesting as the others. though its not a bad album at all. hand it over is amazing and really needs to be remastered or something so that other people can get it. where you been has some great tunes, and without a sound kinda is boring in some parts but has its high points too.
