Good news, I figured out my problem with the mp3 files and I’ve made all of them stereo and just burned a cd.
Mattman: I’m uploading from school, I’m pretty sure things are fast on my end. Time permitting I’ll try Blah’s ftp tomorrow. The mp3’s are broken down into tracks.

Anthony- I have about 50 MB to upload. I received an email from Blah and I attempted to upload my files to his ftp, but my computer said it would take 20 hours so I cancelled. I’ll try again later. It would be nice if I could figure out the whole mono/stereo thing too (read my first post above).

27 although I look and act younger
Cale:
I taped the show with a little hand held Panasonic Microcassette Recorder (model RN-404). I am able to convert it to mp3’s on my computer but I need my friend’s help. Hopefully we’ll get to it within the next of couple days. At previous Fog gigs I’ve made recordings that came out pretty bad since I was in front and it was so incredibly loud, so I didn’t bother trying to do anything with it. But with this gig it may come out decent. We’ll see. If you want I can snail mail you my tapes after I’m done with them.
Bobocap:
I’m pretty confident J is cool with people taping his shows since every one I’ve been to, people have taped pretty much out in the open and haven’t taken any guff from anyone. At Saturday nights gig there were people taping all over the place. The girl next to me had a big recorder with a full-size microphone that she put on the stage. She kind of covered it up with her jacket, but it was pretty obvious. I’m bet her recording came out good, maybe we should track her down and get her to post her recording…
Elcat:
The feedback on the right side of the stage wasn’t too bad. If J hadn’t said something I may not have even noticed. It was probably just that one speaker.

I’m pretty sure I’ll be at the Empty Bottle tomorrow night if anyone wants to say hi to me. I’m a 27 year old (although I look about 21), 5’6" 150 pound male with shoulder length wavy hair and I’ll be dragging my buddy along with me who is bigger and balder than me. I’ll probably be wearing a J shirt of some kind. Maybe we can share a beer and talk about freakscene.net I always like to post a lot of info and pics after I see a J show, check out my posts from last Feb/March/April if you’re interested. See ya tomorrow

Link works now, I must have caught it at the wrong time. Great pics
Am I the only one having trouble with that link?
Here’s some shots of me. I usually get my hair cut once a year, so I have lots of different hair lengths in different pics.

February 9, 2001 with JI don’t blame you for being a tad disappointed. I’ve gone to 4 Fog shows since November and heard "the Wagon" one time and "TV Eye" four times. And never heard "Get Me". Stooges songs are great, but when push comes to shove I’d rather hear J do his own songs. But hey, they have the right to play what they want, and they still sound great. I was just happy to be at the shows. But I can relate to how you feel.

Thanks for the tip, I’m listening to it right now……..
Great review and information Jeremiah, thanks
a lot. Thank you as well for creating and
maintaining this kick-ass site. I visit here
every day and it’s my main source of J infos.I am jealous of you guys who went to the
Charlotte show… Saturday night I was at a
movie and I couldn’t help wishing I was many
miles away in North Carolina hanging out with
all of you and rockin’ with J & the Fog.A live album sounds great, I’d be first in
line to buy it. How about a box set
documenting J’s live performances over the
past 17 years or so?Seems like J plays "the Wagon" at every show
except the one’s I go to! What’s up with
that? I’ve only heard it once in 4 shows! How about we plan a get-together for all the
J fans from this site so we can meet each
other, trade bootlegs and memorabilia, J
can show up and play some songs, kind of like
those KISS conventions in the early 90’s.
Who’s with me?According to Mike Watt’s hootpage, the Cleveland
gig is on Tuesday April 3.According to Ultimatum’s
page, the Cleveland gig
is April 2.I would guess the ticket will cost you about
$15 (US) and if there is a minimum age, it would be 18 or 21. I’ve never been there so
I don’t know for sure…I would call the place and see what’s up:
the grog shop
1765 coventry rd.
cleveland heights, oh
(216) 321-5588According to Mike Watt’s tour diary that he
just posted, What Else Is New is nicknamed
"Mike’s House" because the song was written
at Mike Johnson’s house. Mystery solved. -
