Hey all I found some more interesting facts about this deck. Apparently it is a Dan Rogers deck done by Birdhouse. I asked guys on a website called Skull and Bones and they thought it was a Dan Rogers Deck. I visited The Art of Skateboarding website, they have the largest catalogue of decks from every era. Under Dan Rogers I did not find the Hitchhiker deck as I like to call it. But I did find that he also had a deck with the cover from Dinosaur on it. If you want to check it out here is the link
I think the Hitchhiker deck is ultra rare and that’s why it’s not in the catologue. And by the way he does have a deck there by the War Effort company.
LMAO!!!!!

If you ask me I think it’s ugly, I wish J’s marketing could promote something a little more stylish or mature. I would have worn that when I was 17, but I’m 27 now. Does anyone else feel me here?

I know it`s under a minute long but it`s essential in my book.I totally agree. I have a funny story about that song. Three years ago J was in Baltimore doing the acoustic tour and he was asking for requests and one guy asked for "Throw it Down". J said, "I don’t know that one", it was so funny. The guy said, "Yes you do" and he started to sing it and J immediatly went "Oh Oh, Yeah". It took him a little bit to remember the cords, but he got it.
Aetos I go the Can’t Stop Video. It’s really good. Ray Barbee does some great stuff on there. I have to say the 3 ft. fickflips over walls and picknick tables are amazing. Thanks for the lead.
Hot Rod
Hey you all thanks for the welcome. It’s nice to see some catholics out there. You all probably know that J was once asked what he’d be doing if he were’nt making music and he said he’d probably be a priest.
I have actually been surfing this site for the past three years, but it never allowed me to post with my old membership, so I finally got a new one. Well, as J says " I’ll be down, I’ll be around"
God bless!
That is the best news I’ve heard all day! Thanks A!
I’d be nice to have a list of who skated to the songs. I remember Mike Vallely skating to Freak Scene on the Wheels of Fire video. That’s actually what got me hooked. OT Hey, does any one remember Ray Barbee? I loved that guy! I was and probably still would be if he got more face time.
Actually if I remember correctly, I think Bird House made that deck. I remember the first time I saw Dinosaur Jr. was at lollapoluza 1993 in Charlston WV. The night I got back, there was a skateboard catalogue with that deck in it. I wanted it so bad, but I had no money.
Hey guys and gals. I’m new here, but not new I reregistered. I’ve been checking this site out for about three years. Anyways I noticed this thread and I thought I’d mention that I have a Cow shirt I’d be willing to let go of.
It’s in good condition, I bought it on ebay three years ago and I hardly wear it. To be honest, I probably wore it the first three month after I bought it. So its been about 2 1/2 years since I wore it. Anyways, for $30.00 I’ll ship it to you. E-mail me at rodnie_matute@yahoo.com. -
