Malcom,
At least you have the purple cow to yourself again, huh? Ok… Since you obviously had to follow me around changing names…. …the only fair thing for me to do is go back to ol’ faithful myself. I am keeping the bulldog until our deal is done….Semper Fi, mac.
Hey, Cool Canada Dude with the Built-in Musicopedia,
No fair changing names faster than me and also no fair changing names while I was thinking of commenting on the 1st change!!!:P
I guess this would be a good time to continue the corruption of this thread by talking about myself instead
I went with the Threadkillah name because I had been striking out on new threads quite a bit lately. Sorry if they have not been good….
I then quit feeling sorry for myself and thought of my biology class where if you put too much solution into a cell it begins to puff up, or lyse. I do that a lot in life…. So maybe I still feel sorry for myself….. Now it’s your problem too. Hah!Perhaps I am slow on the uptake, but is the link and the picture supposed to be taking me somewhere?
I never knew Caroline had indie ties. Sue didn’t help Naked Raygun any….
By the way, ELJ, have you heard the goth tribute to SP on Cleopatra records? I bought it and gave it to a goth friend. I liked Switchblade Symphony’s take on Adore and not much else. I think KMFDM mangled Rhinoceroa beyond acceptance. They should be hung.Wow. I would like to see them have Cheap Trick open, kick Rick Neilsen’s ass, and J. and Bolly play Nielsen’s 12 string simultaneously. Can you see it?

I have to deviate from the poll selections and cast my vote for Caroline Records.
Wax Trax and Cleopatra would be nice ones to put on thre too.i got "jive-talking choir-boy". i like my hommade wu-type name better, but after pornalizing my computer and dancing with the satanic hampsters, i guess i can be grateful.
I think if you keep focused on the usual thermodynamics, you’ll be a ringer !
I have to plug the new Pennywise CD "Land of the Free?" The album has become very scary to listen to as of late with all that has been going on. These guys just continue to get better at writing. Some of the licks are constant from album to album but they tweak them quite well. They put together some sounds I haven’t heard from them before. Check out "Set Me Free" for what I am talking about. Enjoy.
Finally got in the empty chatroom today, of all places at my school! I came home and I still have the same thing, a little box with an ex on the screen where the chat dialogue would be. I am beginning to think you are right Mattman, the hoopty at home might need some upgrading…….
GTE used to have mailed payments sent to Tallahassee. I apologzize, relly……
No… I use a server provided by Verizon.. formerly GTE. Does anyone know where they are/where headquartered
Both, Mattman. Seriously, I am using Win 95 and it runs IE5 very well. The prob when I go to the chat room is that I get a little square with an "x" in the corner, kind of like a picture link that is broken.
I try to use those 2 rows of "buttons" like join etc. I get a dialog box in the upper left corner of the screen asking for info depending on what command I tried. The result is the same: it takes me to a white screen and that is it. Some one mentioned a "connect now" prompt. I do not have one of those.
I have been appealing to various members for a week or so and so far no help has been provided, just advised to wait and let the Technodieties allow me good grace and function in the proper time Do you take burnt offerings?
I did used to run my own BBS on a c-64 back in 1985-86 on two floppy drives

I am using Commodore 64 and Quantum Link….. see if you can do something with that O Mantis
Really, I am using Win95 combined with IE 5.
I have no idea how rosa was able to try connecting in all the ways she did. Beyond the most basic user functions, I am a tyro. -
