Great review Malcom,
Leo is coming to Amsterdam in January and I m going to find tickets for that show for sure, I like the music from leo a lot and with your review in the back of my mind, I look forewards to this gig!Great review Buck. It’s a pitty (for me) that I couldn’t make it. Things a more calm now.
Must have been nice shaking hands with J. You lucky thing!!!!
See Ya
Drive By Truckers – Melkweg 16 november.
Looking forewards a lot, I like their "southern opera" a lot. Let’s see how they do it live.
Don’t let the bastards get you down/ a tribute to kris kristofferson.
Normaly I don’t like these kind of things but this one is realy special. Great interpetations by Tom Verlaine (television), Mother Hips and Chuck Prophet to name a few.
I like Coldplay too, the last album has some more "rough-sides", better than Parachutes.
Aimee Mann /lost in space
Ryan Adams / demolution
Cold Play / A rush of blood to the head
The Band / Last waltz ( dvd)I copied this one of the brilliant Steve Earle-song; John Walker’s blues. Maybe I should start a poll on this song…

Obscure, offensive but very funny single from some Belgian garage in the mid-80’s
Shit, Bange Konijnen on the net! (enter this page at your own risk, and don’t say i didn’t warn you…… )

Funny to read that on the english page Kim is 14 while on the dutch version she is only 13.*Queens of the Stone Age / Songs for the deaf, incl a bonus dvd!
* And I realy just had to bring it home, a gift from a wellknown member on FS
John Walker’s Blues // Steve Earle (thrilling!!)
The Gourds / Cow, Fish, Jawl or Pig. (Good new album with some peculiar field recordings)
Van Morrison / down the road. (He still produces magic every now and then)
Steve Earle / Jerusalem. (Including the controversal " John Walkers blues " )I’m Thinking of starting a new band.
The Hypes
1)Gianna Nanini, 14 oct 2002 Paradiso Amsterdam
2)Golden Earring, 28 september 2002, Gars, Werfershoof…( of all places )1) Sentimental reasons, and old girlfriend of mine was or maybe is a great fan and we will meat at this venue…
2)My two bandmembers invited me to this gig. Imagine one of the (former) biggest bands of Holland playing in a one horse town. Good for me, I’ve got a ride back so, if the gig sucks, I can get drunk instead! -
