Finaly… the band’s Last Waltz, 4 cd’s history of Americana, rock and roll..name it. Full length, remastered. It is increadible. This is stuff you should check out. If you like Neil Young, Clapton, Dr. John, Bob Dylan, Muddy Waters or Van the Man. pureness and musical skills.
I name one song: It makes no difference! After so many years..it blew my head of again!!

Did you go to Lloyd Cole? I used to love him when I was a lad. Perfect Skin, Lost Weekend, Jennifer in Blue… wonderful songs.

Please let me know what he was like

I think it is a very "brit-pop" influenced list but thats logic since it’s a UK-side. I like it but did he just forgat to put at least one nirvana on the list

In my memory Talk Talk was a 80ties band

Thanks for the offer Wireland, but I only have an analog connection to the web, so downloading songs take ages (as this is what you meant with the preview)

Will pick up the two Waits-cd’s next saturday, I’m anxious to listen to them (best concert ever was Waits in the Hague in 1999).
While in the shop I will also buy the re-isue of the band’s "the last walz", it’s a 4 cd set for only 45 euro+ a nice bio by former bandmember Levon Helm. The only question is what do I do with the original double-cd I have. It will be the third time Robbie Robbertson make a buck on me. First the record-set, then the double-cd and now the box…insane!

Lloyd Cole, 8th may, Paradiso Big Hall.

It was a seated concert wich meant the bar was closed. Lloyd has become older, greyer and more fat, but whats new pussycat. He was an indie-star in the eighties and he still writes great songs about love (forbidden / bad / good / etc) . Ofcourse he played some of his big hits like rattlesnake and Lost weekend but most of the songe where from more recent times. He was totaly solo and he seemed to be relaxed, he messed up a couple of times but he didn’t seem to bother, he just started the song again and carried on. Nice little stories in between the songs. Yeah I had a good time there…

I have a very nice woodenlook ’79 fender strat, solidbody with no tremelo. It has a great sound incredible sustain. I also play on an epiphone riviera, a red semi-ac. I have this Marshall amp (valvestate 8210) that I hate a bit because i want to have a real valve – amp but can’t afford it…but I’m saving to buy one though: a Vox (ac15 or ac30) but they are so criminal expensive.
Accoustic I play on an old Aria guitar, still good but…
No pic’s BTW.
Effects..All kind of toys, mostly boss and a cry baby wah. The things I use mostly are: compressor and delay.
