Machine gun / Jimmy Hendrix
War / Eric Burdon
Masters of War / Eddy Vedder
With God on our side / Bob Dylan
Foxhole / Television
Armagideondays / The TheIt was time for a change. It’s a bit of an old Harrisong with the title "Love you too".
You probably know the anagram of George Bush?
He bugs gore.
Looking at mine.. Hansione / Oh Insane
or our well respected salamiguy / I am ugly asDay before yesterday a copy with autograph:
Josh Rouse: home.
Great gig, great fun in a smal hall! Nice guy this Josh to talk with too.Maybe a little more precise. The two results are added (aggregated). When this makes a draw, the away goals count double (just as jasper explaned)
Example: Feijenoord Rotterdam played In Scotland 1-1 against the Glasgow Rangers, when they draw 0-0 in Rotterdam they are through.
BTW: this example doesnt mean I am a fan of Feijenoord
Willard Grant Conspiracy + telefunk
Dinosaur jr / Bug
Josh Rouse */ Under Cold Blue Stars
Ryan Adams / Heartbreaker
Pete Yorn **/ musicforthemorningafter* Going to a concert of this guy tonight…small hall of paradiso. The big one is small so it is going to be an intimate gig!
** He’ll be playing Paradiso next month

You could try to find the debut album of the pre-betty Serveert band called: "de artsen", it is titled Conny waves with a shell. It’s just before Carol joined the band Betty Serveert. It’s good guitarpop in between Neil and the feelies.
Palomine is a great B.S album too.My mother is more in to Jim Reeves
Great mix Salamiguy,
Always nice to see a band like Betty Serveert being apriciated in Canada. The drummer of this band makes nice music too, little bit li-fo electro stuff.
quote:
Originally posted by hansione:

Yeah, the substitute-list a cool one too, and it’s nice to see how many votes were dropped. I seem to have a lot of Tom Waits/Band/etc-friends.
I think it was a great initiative.Very cool list Allison, I think you (and we all at F.S) did a great job. Why not sent a copy to some of those magazines? They might learn something here
Belle et Sebastian was a tvserie for children at the end of the sixties. Belle was a big dog and sebastian a bigeyed kid, playing in the snow.
Pretty things named after the Bo Diddley song
Lovin’spoonful, from the song Coffee Blues
Deep purple, I have read somewhere that it is from a Bing Crosby-song
