Den Buck, thanks for the compliment…to much ouzo?? .. I’m just wondering about the combination Amsterdam and Ouzo..this is new for me.
I had my share as well, but only while waring my Greek "Ouzo-power"-Tshirt!!

Thanks for welcoming me guys! The Ryan I saw was "overusing" the moutharp, guitar, piano, mic’s and drums. No sax was includes! And reading the reply I should be glad! Gold, his latest cd is realy brilliant. Rocky in the tradition of Neil, stones bruce to a breakable way of singing like, yeah like what, help me out?
By the way great board this is! I’m in to music and I feel like a kid in a candystore!! Keep it up!

Cool question; "Yesterday"
might be a cliché but it is not!
How about:
Eight miles high ( Husker du vs Byrds)
I’m on fire (Johnny Cash vs Bruce Springsteen)
The air that I breath ( Steve Wynn vs Hollies)
But the song no one can destroy, no not "search and destroy", whatever shape you’re in, I think, is the simple "blue suede shoes". Come on, even you ,having a shower, it still sounds great.

First cut is strangly enough the deepest in many occations.
Lenny Kravitz : Let love rule
Music from Big Pink: Band
My aim is true: Elvis Costello
Garbage: Garbage
Are you experienced: Hendrx
John Lennon/ plastic onoband
Robbie Robertson

And all the "new" bands like sparklehorse, white stripes, strokes etc, we just have to wait if they are going to even get better with next albums.
