haven’t opened mine yet, saving it for Christmas. Mrs Javro called me at work the other day to enquire on why I’d spent £270 on a book. Why did they put the price on the covering letter? Damn you to hell book sending people.
this has been cancelled now, such a shame.
London was a class apart for me. Have seen them around 30 times over the past 22 years in various guises, and it just felt like a really tight band, experts in their instruments, really enjoying playing together. The sound was incredible too. Not by all means my favourite show of theirs, but to stand near the front and witness the professionalism that they now display was very special. After reading previous set lists I was delighted to hear “Little Fury Things”, mainly because I wasn’t expecting it. Lou just gets better and better, the passion he puts in must drain him. It’s quite hilarious observing the juxtaposition between Lou and J, but it just works. Long may it continue.
Cheatahs were amazing last night. First support act I’ve liked (aside from Lou) for them since Come and Bettie Serveert.
I’ve had this for a couple of years and don’t have too many problems with it.
sorry doesitfloat – tickets are available on crowdsurge now. support act will still be dreadful though.
tickets on sale from 9am Friday I believe. The support will be diabolical, that I can guarantee.
they are waiting to see how quickly the other UK dates sell out to decide between the forum or empire.
The Little Baby (Jesus)
Baubles of Passion
Little Foily Things
I Ain’t Sleighin’If Carlsberg wrote record reviews…
that’s made my day
Empire – check bottom of this link, seems I was wrong

amazed that Where You Been was a top 10 album, not sure I believe that.
I’d be shocked if Without a Sound and Hand it Over in particular troubled the UK top 100 album charts. I’d be confident in adding YLAOM, Bug and Dinosaur to that. maybe Feel the Pain entered the top 40 singles, but I can’t think of any other single that sold here.
glad you’re safe Terry. I like the cut of your jib.
Typical. Someone out of the kindness of their heart offers a ticket to fellow fans, and an intriguing competition to boot but then keels over and dies mid-sentence. Pay attention all, altruism, whilst good for the soul, is terrible for the heart.
does that mean there are now two tickets available?
I am accidentally drunk at work today. I realise that this is merely by the by, but hey ho. Wine and Beer Fridays every 2 weeks, best thing we ever introduced. White wine makes me slightly mad. I am going to see Cable in a few weeks, never thought they would reform, but have done for a Hell is for Heroes and Hundred Reasons Farewell tour. Downlift the Uptrodden!
