Severed Lips – new Bachmann album sounds great, heard a couple of tracks and ordered off Eric’s site, first 200 copies autographed. Check me out, over 30 and still a sucker for marketing ploys.
something very peculiar has happened to you all whilst I have been gone…
yep, heading up there from London tonight pal. Can’t wait.
I’m a big skinhead, and will be wearing a blue dino shirt (the alien workshop one).
I will be horribly drunk.
Ben
nah pal, going to Bristol though. invented a hugely important work meeting there in order to get over from London in time.

off to brizzle then.
don’t come on here too much these days, but if there is a London gig, would appreciate it if anyone could email me. anyone going to the ATP weekender that Dino’s curating?
Anyone know the line-up for this?

excellent again. after IASAR, band disappeared for Frank Mills, leaving Evan alone to play a chorus/distortion selection of Outdoor Type, All My Life, Different Drum, Being Around, and a couple of others, before being rejoined by band for a few other "Come on Feel" tracks.
his voice was superb, he looked well (apart from wearing the same red long sleeve shirt both nights) – only criticism was the shirt i bought. note to self – Ben you’re 30 years old, and about 10 years too far gone for a "medium" size shirt.
always suspected, now confirmed.
Eric is a fucking star.
cheers mate, top work.
something emailing it’s way to you by way of thanks
July 19, 2005 at 3:19 am in reply to: Why Moshers/ Crowd Surfers Are Annoying Assholes, pt 1 #111116whenever I saw Gary Young he was far from awesome. As amusing as handstands and cartwheels are, it’s not big or clever to fall over your own drumkit. you just knew that Malkmus and Scott wanted rid.
he could certainly drink a lot of vodka though.
50 now confirmed. have a feeling it’ll be a lot more. can’t believe it’s that low with all those people on the tube. i fucking hate the tube anyway. still, back to normal life, what else you going to do?
close call, got off the metropolitan line tube at work at farringdon. two stops later is where the first bomb went off.
all friends and family ok, although my girlfriend works at tavistock sq where the bus exploded. so a series of close calls.
all it seems to have done is bring the city together, can’t remember a sense of community in london like it.
hope everyone else is ok

hmmm. the way i see it is that I have bought every single cd/vinyl/7/12 that he has released, and asides from jayloumurph this is the first bootleg i have paid for. including the 20 or so times that I’ve seen him, I think I have perhaps paid quite enough "legal" money – I’m fairly sure he’s not going to begrudge me paying £7 for a dvd.
If he brings out a legit one, I’ll buy two – how’s that?
although it’s billed as YLAOM, how long does that play for – 35/40 minutes tops? they must come back on and play additional materiel, unless of course J’s solos extend each track to double the length of the album tracks. which is very likely.
it’s not like the between song banter will make the show any longer.
did you see the ATM post on another thread Rambleon? At Koko, 31st August, YLAOM from beginning to end. Koko used to be camden palace. booked two tickets. this must be one of the best years I can remember for gigs. if only I’d beaten the rush and got lemonheads tickets. sold out unforunately. onto ebay methinks.
cheers, just bought two. unbelievable.
