That is so hilarious. I really don’t like talking about this kinda stuff because there is no point I could make that hasn’t already been made. And thinking about it gets me so comicly frustrated. But it just blows my mind that people just KNOW that they are right. No proof or evidence. It’s just that their "faith" is so strong. I admire that and all, and think it’s good to belive in somthing, but that is just a great example of pure ignorance, and a false sence of supremecy. HA!
Well, I think J can record any Neil Young song and make it great, preferably an acoustic neal tune. Maybe somthing off of harvest even. I mean we can all say J should record a few of the Stooges tunes the fog has been doing live, those are really great. But you know what I’d like to see? I’d like to see J take a sonic youth song off of sister like catholic block, and cover that. I think that’d be cool. Or Youth against facism.
Yeah, I don’t think wastin’ is very good for a single release. It’a a great song, but it’s not inthe vien of stuff J has released before so it’ll take college radio aback. I think of waistin’ as more of an eccentric B-side to a song like same day, I’m not fine, or even amma ring. But then at the same time, we should’nt expect J, or ultimatum music (his U.S. lable) to be predictable and radio friendly.
Oh man, all of us here in Before The Flood wish all of J and the fog our BEST of wishes. J, hope you recover really soon. Watt, good seatbelt call (and good b-day too, we share the date). Well J, whenever I look down at my new Fender logo tattoo I will pray that you heal up asap… hasta

Yeah I went to the Met Cafe show also in Providence Rhode Island, HickoryWind you are right, J’s solos were amazing. I was also front and Center, they had the floor monitors turned directly toward the crowd, my ears rang for the next 4 days. That my friends is NO exageration. I talked to J before and after the show, watt and berz after the show. I got one of the setlists which all 3 graciously signed, along with a signed Geroge Berz size 2b (huge) drum stick. J’s brother’s band the Warblers were ok. I could tell J’d bro was using J’s head and cab for his amp. The second band Elf Power was amazing, blew me away, I talked to them too after the show, super nice. But J Mascis and The Fog took the cake. Although I could tell J was having prblems with his effects (they sounded horrid) he just shrugged his soulders to watt after trying to fix them and they began their set. Well I’ll stop rambling. I’ll read you the set list exactly as it says it on mine;
