I must agree with squeapler. The Philly show was definately a great show. I was looking forward to a little more electric but he was being shocked and we don’t want J hurt. All the new songs sounded great even though he couldn’t remember what key Tell the Truth was in. I hope he comes back around to Philly towards the end of the tour. Seemed like more people turned out for this show than the prior one.
I saw J’s car sitting outside the Philly show. At least I’m pretty sure it was his. Mass. liscence plate, whole bunch of More Light shirts. It was a black Subaru wagon. Not a bad car. Good job Anthony and Kellee. It’s nice to know J is always up for talking with his fans.
I myself am a girl so I own the only girl shirt I know of from the More Light tour. My boyfriend however owns about 10. I like the princess and ogre out of all of his, but my absolute favorite is the gorilla and cow. He does not have that one.
Crooked rain Crooked rain is the better of the pavement albums. Over the week I got, the Replacement (circa 1981) and Sonic Youth (circa 1986). Needed a history lesson.

Then hide them in your lap, lap, lapI know there is one song i skip on Dinosaur Jr. albums. "Poledo" (don’t remember spelling). I can’t get into it. As for More Light. It’s one of my favorites. Wasn’t until I saw it live. The loudness is its whole appeal. and figuring out the words.
I know i do wonder about J’s life from time to time. He’s a very secretive kinda guy. I think it’s just natural. On the other hand, I did have a chance to meet and talk to him (at a show he stood and watched directly in front of me) but I couldn’t to it. What could you say? "Hi J. You don’t know me, but please tell me everything about you?" I know i get weirded out when people i don’t know talk to me like they know me.
My fav was any carebears song. i was always a big carebears fan.
The kids in my class enjoy the itsy bitsy spider and a song called one little finger. anyone hear of it besides me? oh and 10 little monkeys jumping on the bed, if your happy and you know it, and the wheels on the bus.my fav line is from green mind:

I got the only copy at the local store. Definately worth getting just for the mix of J and co. over the years.
