Which hand do we want our government to wipe its ass with?
April 20, 2004 at 11:21 am in reply to: Can’t decide, to go or not to go to Smith College Show. #101268You might want to run SpyBot, if you haven’t already, just to make sure no nasty spyware has sneaked on to your PC.
Maybe with 9 weeks, he’ll be able to come through Florida, preferably my town (he’s usually stopped in Tallahassee in the past anyway).

Hoping for a speedy recovery for you Sophie!!!

I don’t know if Asheton Specials count as pain killers, but I’d bet they’d at least sterilize something.
On second thought, maybe we ought to wait a little while before we prescribe those…
Tele’s ain’t Les Paul heavy by any stretch… Besides, I just meant exactly what I said… You can’t go wrong with a Tele. Hands down, they’re probably my favorite electric guitars.

I bet the thin-line Teles are lighter, but I’ve never tried them. My boss plays one, I’ll ask him.
If you’re talking Gibsons, the SG weighs practically nothing…
Also, semi-hollow bodies are pretty lite if you like them.
…and as always, you can’t go wrong with a Tele.

MTV has been censoring videos for a looooooong time now, and not just naughty words, but anything that might lead to a lawsuit, and anything even remotely gang related (slang, etc.)
I kid you not, they even censored the word "cold", as in "the bodies turn *BEEP*"… and that was around ten years ago.

This isn’t a Clear Channel thing (as much as I hate CC) as it is an FCC thing. Ever since the Janet Jackson thing at the Superbowl, the FCC has been cracking down on anything even remotely "indecent". The FCC has recently been talking about raising the fines for each "indecent" act by a factor of 10, to something like $275,000 per violation!

Hmm… My question is: In what way did the turntable die? Did it stop spinning? Stop making sound? Something else?
I’m just trying to think… How much could really go wrong in a turntable, and how hard would it be to repair or have it repaired?

The smile’s not done yet!?
Does not compute…

…or do you mean the "congratulations"?
That was a *congratulaltions for having big plans* congratulations, not a *congratulations for getting married* congratulations… That comes later.

So, like I said… Congratulations!!! (for the plans) and wear the pretty smile!

Well, I’m no fashion expert, but you should definitely wear the smile from pic 6.

Congratulations!!!
:aliensmile:Unlike a lot of this site, the "lyrics" link under the "band info" men above actually works… Give it a try!
Very cool!!! …and happy birthday!

Here’s a pic of my "family":

Hmmm, I’ve been trying to focus on my own stuff mostly, as of late, but for keeping up my Yngwie chops
I tend to go through phases on this one… change ’em up every so often…Here’s a few:
Dinosaur Jr – Anything. I know how to play most songs from everything up through "Without a Sound". Only know a few from "Hand It Over" or the ‘Fog’ albums though… just haven’t had the time to figure them out yet. Some of my all time favs to play are Water, Over Your Shoulder, Thumb, On the Brink, Raisins, and Start Chopping. *Shameless Plug* I’ve got plenty of tabs on my website, but be warned that some of them need updating to correct the occasional error (I’ll get around to it someday, I hope).
Pixies – Pretty much just Letter to Memphis, maybe one or two others back in the day…
Karate – The Roots and the Ruin, Sever, Airport, and The Same Stars.
Teenage Fanclub – Everything Flows

Sometimes the occasional SRV ditty, when I’m feeling a little honky tonk.
