Sorry I’m late to the, er, party on this one…

I’m moving in little over a week, so a few things may change.

          Here goes:

The Mattcave command center. 8) :P

My main rig, complete w/ mismatched slot-load no-label DVD drive (if you look closely, there’s a door on the case that closes to hide the drives.)

My web/file/mp3/ftp server (the larger of the two) and the little machine that I built from an old Celeron 400mhz that I ganked from work (when I move in a week or so, the little box is going in the living room as an mp3 jukebox to be hooked into the stereo.) 8)

…and of course, Snake-Eyes stands, ever vigilant, to guard my desk from the bad guys (such as Cobra). :P

For an every-night, several-weeks-at-a-time deal, $110 sounds like a bargain.

                      …but, yeah, I definitely recommend earplugs for a "Fog" show… and I don’t normally wear earplugs… 8)

Right-click the desktop, hit "properties", go to "settings" tab, hit "advanced"… Should be something in there somewhere, if I remember correctly. (I have an ATI card at the moment, different buttons).

In case none of you have heard it yet, you can download the first track from the new album on the Secretly Canadian front page, at the bottom.

                            All I have to say is: WOW!!!! Must…. have… CD…. 8)

Sorry to hear about all of this, Kurt. Those pics are still on my site, aren’t they? (I haven’t touched them anyway.)

Did your new machine come with Windows 2000 or XP? If so, here’s a little trick (make sure you know your windows password) Hold down the windows keys (the one that pops up the start menu) and then press L… That’ll lock your machine so that only you can access it.

                                Here’s another good one: AMZ

And a link right to there Projects. I built the "Muff Boost", 3rd from the top. It’s just the gain stage from the classic Big Muff distortion box, with some modifications to make it distort (which I left out, I wanted a clean volume boost.) Works well, made with parts I found at Radio Shack…

…On that note, I ordered some parts to repair my amp and included a stomp switch in with the order. I’m inspired now to go ahead and finish this thing. The thing is, a heavy-duty DPDT stomp switch runs around $12. Most expensive part in my project…

Got all the stuff from Hoffman Amps, a very good resource on those hard to find tube amp parts. 8)

Here’s a great site with lots of cool tips on making your own pedals. Lots of schematics too… 8)
