Or just buy one with the casters already installed on it…

My only real beef with the Twin Reverb is that they weight about 70lbs. Heavy mo’fos!!!

Twins are much louder and much cleaner! Heavy as hell too! They’re great amps though if you like a really clean tone (lets them work well with pedals), but don’t try to turn it up enough to distort on its own, or you’ll go deaf!
The Deluxe Reverb is famous for it’s bluesy grit when you crank it above 5 or so… They can have a little trouble keeping up with an extra loud drummer, but since all the clubs around here have their own PA systems, I can just mic it…

I have a 40Watt Bandmaster Reverb, that I play through a 4-10 cabinet when I need something louder…
That’s weird… The "no" part that is. (OK, the Slash part’s a little weird too!
)You’re not the first to be hit by the "no" monster, though I don’t know what causes it…
Thanks!
It’s actually a ’68 Deluxe Reverb. About 25 Watts, and my absolute favorite amp!
On the CD version, it was Bob Pollard of Guided By Voices who sang that part. I think that it’s J and Pollard both singing in a similar high pitch that makes it not sound as good. There’s not much contrast between their voices. Whereas Watt’s lower, gruff sounding voice and delivery really go well with J’s falsetto, causing both of their voices to stand apart better. That’s my opinion anyway.

Heh, Tallahassee, that’s were I live…

Heh, it’d be more accurate to say that J has lost about 17 years of age…

(It’s what one might call a "vintage" photo.)

Hey Stanner, you have a slight error in your URL there… Lou’s sight is loobiecore.com, you have loobie.com.

I ordered Dinosaur through the same place that I found YLAOM and Fossils. They had it in their catolog, and I’d been looking for it for a while (this was mid ’96, I believe)… Even picked up a copy for a friend.

Other good finds that I found around town: Quest Japanese Import and Monsters Eat Orpheum bootleg. Both definitely keepers.

That’s the one small downside to having the Internet, to me… Finding a rare bootleg or import doesn’t quite have the same impact, because chances are I’ve already DL’d it from SoulSeek… Oh well, the good out weighs the bad, IMO.
I, by pure dumb luck, managed to stumble across both YLAOM and Fossils one night at a local music store (Vinyl Fever), sometime back in ’95, I think… One of those right-place-at-the-right-time deals. I don’t think I’ve had such an awesome find since…

I haven’t been by that place in a while, since it’s on the other side of town from me… I should venture out there again sometime soon.

Oh yeah, well both of mine are about law enforcement… Am I only the sum of my job!? I just fix computers, I promise! No badges, no gun, no nothin’!

Um, I’m a double agant… yeah that’s it. I’m taking apart the system from the inside… bit by bit.

Yeah, it’s a bit of a slow process, what with us all having real life responsabilities, etc…

Crazy stuff, huh?

Bushido punk?
