I can tape the show. I work in a stock footage library, so I can dub a copy for people and mail em out if you give me some money for tape stock and postage. I’m going to the taping too if i can get off work a little early. Do you guys want me to post what they play before it is aired or do you want to be surprised?

I’m positive they’ll play a classic dinosaur song. it’ll be good to see lou and j on stage again, but realistically i’m sure it is for the money. who can blame ’em? after seeing the pixies tour it’s a good way to make some cash…plus lou just had a baby and he’s practically begging people on is website to buy merch. nyhoo, it’ll be cool no matter what the reason. i can’t wait.

if j played electric w/ the fog:
1. Little Fury Things 10. In A Jar
2. Out There 11. Drawerings
3. The Leper 12. Repulsion
4. Same Day 13. Thumb
5. Whatever’s Cool With Me 14. Raisans
6. Puke + Cry 15. Alone
7. I’m Insane Encore:
8. No Bones 16. Over Your Shoulder
9. Blowing It 17. Freaksceneif j played acoustic:
1. Thumb 10. Sideways
2. Quicksand 11. Keep The Glove
3. Same Day 12. Repulsion
4. Freakscene 13. Severed Lips
5. The Wagon 14. Alone
6. Get Me 15. Little Fury Things
7. Drawerings 16. Goin’ Home
8. Blowing It 17. Not The Same
9. QuestWhere did you see the Spaceland ad?

J. Mascis The Fog with VERY SPECIAL GUESTS plus Supreme Dicks
this show is not sold out. there will be tickets available at the door the night of the show.so it looks like they’ll have an extra 100 tix at the door.
It looks like all the pre-sale tickets sold out already. that was fast. usually spaceland has 100 tickets at the door the night of the show…but i dunno if that will be the case with this show. hmm. it should be good. spaceland is gonna be loud.

SPACELAND is actually right next to Hollywood in Silverlake. It should be a great show. I’m counting down the minutes until tickets go on sale.

I think they’ll probably play a song where J sings the vocals since Lou probably hasn’t played these songs in a long while and it might be hard for him to remember the bass lines while singing lead vocals.
My guess?…."Little Fury Things" with Lou doing the screaming…but I wouldn’t be surprised by "Bulbs Of Passion".
They are going to be on the late, late show w/ craig furgeson, which films in L.A. on April 15th, which makes it seem like a reunited Dinosaur will play the next night at Spaceland in L.A. I’m going to both!

Do you think it’s going to be a dinosaur show? maybe j + the fog will play followed by j, lou and murph. perhaps j + the fog w/ seBADoh or lou solo. that would be funny.
I hope they stick around for a while. they are tighter than any line-up I’ve seen. Dave plays bass like a champ and kyle pounds the drums like bam bam for an hour and a half without touching his water. They rock! I love J and all, but I was getting tired of the acoustic shows…this is what J is really about. Rocking the f’en house.

As an avid Dinosaur/J Mascis audience air guitarist, I was a tad curios as to why nobody mentioned the fact that they spontaniously played "Tarpit". Dave Schools said that this was Kyle’s request. It was a great moment of the show. It was an awesome show and was probably the tightest incarnation of any J Mascis project that I’ve seen. They were well rehearsed and a lot tighter than the Watt shows, even though I loved them. As to the "freaks", there were some hippy type dancers, but al in all a good time had by all. I still don’t understand how people can go without earplugs. I learned that lesson in ’93.
