580 on mine Tonas
It’s just not working for me…. I’m trying to put them on here from photobucket.
Can someone tell me how to post pics?
I got him in today! He’s pretty Rad! The hair is in his face and hard to control. I’ll deal with it later. He’s comes numbered too. This ones #580 of 1000. I can’t figure out how to post pics right now so sorry…..
Thanks Matthoney, that’s what I alway assumed. I watched a Joe Bonamassa gear clip and he alternates and combines heads, so it got me wondering if J does any of that.
Not yet. It should be out this month though. I’m pretty psyched about it.
Does anyone know if J is running all three heads and three stacks at the same time or does he do combos turning some off for when he’s not soloing or rocking a heavy riff?
Cool pics post. Did J dye his hair black back then?
J/K
You can charge whatever you want, but $3000.00 is way too much. Color Vinyl pressing can be quite expensive too. The question is how much are you willing to pay? $500.00? They aren’t as common as the rest of the stuff and I feel like we’re lucky that the early stuff is as readily available as it is. One of these days they’re going to go through the roof and our walking canes and wheelchairs are going to force us to sell…
What effects is J using to get the sounds on Just Like Heaven?
Hi Nick,
I finally read your book last week. It was very well done and Dinosaur was rairly treated. I guess I was expecting a story about the good times they had and blah, blah, blah. Fortunately it was much better than that and very realistic.
I like how you questioned the claim of J Mascis single handedly making the solo cool in alternative, alt or emo music, whatever you wanna call it. I would have definitely been a subscriber to this, but you took the issue more seriously. I loved how you revealed who songs on the first two albums a lot of times are more than one song put together. That’s appropriate for fledgling musicians and allows the reader to listen to the songs in a whole new way. Speaking of which I was totally freaked out to find the source or the crazy voice on “In a jar”. Enough said.
Thank you for a very enlightening read. I encourage all Dinosaur fans to read it and get better in tune with the events behind the album.
Great performances all of them!
I don’t know but “Thumb” always gets under my skin from the original to “Whatever’s Cool with Me” especially at the second solo. Does anyone else feel that? There’s a certain sadness, emptiness, sense of loss. It reminds me of that feeling you get at a break up ‘losing the girl’. It gets me all choked up…
It’s funny to see how low J used to sling his guitar.
I’ve always loved Letterman’s “Wagon” performance, but “Out There” seemed off time and the sax just aint cuttin it. Boo!!
Thanks Jeremiah! I couldn’t find it for the life of me…
March 27, 2012 at 1:42 pm in reply to: Justin Pizzoferrato drops some serious teasers in his latest blog post…. #138773Very cool! He also announced that the Live performance of “Bug” will be released on Vinyl from Outer Battery Records. I wonder if this is the same label Dinosaur’s next album will be released on?
