Albert Camusthe ones that come to my mind right now…

not the same
severed lipsrest:
where do we go now but nowhere? (Nick Cave)
sad eyes (Come)
plainsong (The Cure)
atmosphere (Joy Division)
dust and turpentine (Seam)
samstag ist selbstmord (Tocotronic)
ballad of sister sue (Slowdive)
sweet unknown (Cranes)
tears are in your eyes (Yo La Tengo)
the chalet lines (Belle & Sebastian)
shipyards (Leatherface)
The album is called Inhaler. It is just OK. The first song is the best. Tad is interesting, but not that great a band. Always seemed like more of a novelty act than anything. Grunge band fronted by a huge guy. Having seen them live…I must confirm…Tad is huge.
Ummm… he played different sets each night, which was pretty much the same as Adelaide. Extra songs he did in Melbourne were, Just Like Heaven, Out There, Hide, Blowin It, Alone, Raisins…
From the top of my head, that’s all, oh yeah and ofcourse the new fog material aswell.
Oh yeah, did you get one of those bloody thick guitar picks too?
And the music was twice as loud on the second night, but I still managed to take some nice photos!

You should see SOSTIENE PEREIRA, an italian film based in a novel by Antonio Tabucci. The book is great, but I think the film is not as good as the novel.
Yet the film followed the trama with fidelity. I think it was the last movie Mastronniani appeared in before his death.

Hey Spider, there was no ‘M.’ The diary fragment, as I wrote in the assignment, was fictional. I made something up to fit the lyrics of ‘Drawerings’.

Hey,
I have rarely seen a movie live up to the book…actually probably not one. Didn’t really like Naked Lunch the movie, creeped me out too much although the book did that in certain parts as well. Caught this great animated Burroughs short called A Junkies Christmas a couple of years ago…very cool, if you can find it check it out.
Allison…god I need some sleep
Hey Jasper tell me about the M. that you had to call. I had an M. that I use to have to call. It is only quite recently that I have been able to get through somewhat large periods of time with out thinking of my Maureen. Its funny how we sometimes crave things we know really aren’t good for us. I’ve moved on to what should be good for me, and found that I am very luck to have J mascis to help me through. That may or may not make sense, I’m still into the whiskey.
" The girls they smile and say hello, the darkness drags me back home, it’s hard to face it, still waiting , still alone" J.
I recommend WS Burroughs’ NAKED LUNCH (there’s a movie also), JUNKIE and ACCIDENTAL GHOST (or whatever it’s called in english).
I also liked Anthony Burgess’ CLOCKWORTH ORANGE. The book contains a whole chapter that was eliminated from the film by Kubrick.Have you ever seen BAD TASTE??? Exquisite gore film by Peter Jackson. It’s even better than DEAD ALIVE.
"At the end, I went to jail & got executed just because I didn’t cried at my mother’s funeral."
Albert CamusWhat about EXPERIMENTAL JET SET, TRASH AND NO STAR and WASHING MACHINE?? I specially recommend "Diamond Sea".
