Going to kill two birds with 1 stone here. These are my favorite songs and albums (not including Quest and Martin, which I love). Pretty much the albums are ranked by how many of my favorite songs are on them. I want to mention that I have not heard a single J/Dino song that I don’t dig, these are just my favorites.

I wonder if you would be willing to allow someone (one of the board moderators that is knowledgeable about vintage pedals – which would exclude me!) review one of yours? I am sort of on the edge between trying to nab a vintage and settling for a re-issue. An affordable "new vintage" pedal, provided it really was good (not to doubt you, but you know how it goes) would be a good thing.

ANswer to your questions :
1. EH re-issues mostly sound nowhere near as good as the originals, some people out there can customize the reissues for a $, to sound closer to the oldies….
I have built an original issue 1 big muff (there were 3 different issues, most people prefer the 1st) replica, using authentic EH scematics & component lists,
it sounds much better than the sovtek reissue
very very close to the original (alternaTIVE TRANSISTORS HAVE TO BE USED, THE ORIGINALS ARE WAY OUT OF PRODUCTION)if any you guys are interested i may custom build a few for a good price…
2. Most fender necks are a fair bit thicker than gibsons although playing both regular, i tended to bond with both after a while!

Howza ’bout somebody posts a list of known J cameos? I saw him in Grace of My Heart (Trés Cool!) and that’s about it. I know he’s in The Year Punk Broke (not really a cameo, per se) and I think HYPE! (right?) and Gas Food Lodging (haven’t seen it yet), but could there possibly be more? I am ignorant! [img]http://www.freakscene.net/ubb/smilies/earl.gif[/img]

That was great! I made a mix tape for some friends one time and I had the clip where he says "It was dark out there" which of course smoothly leads right into ‘Out There’.
My fav (so far) has to be from ‘Grace Of My Heart’ where he is behind the mixing board and they are recording ‘The Pickle Song’. Everyone starts going on about how they will never be able to pull it off live and that the theremin (spelling?) is a bit too strange. He is the only one defending the song which I thought was just classic. I read in an interview with J and Alison Anders that all of that was just ad-libbed so it worked out well [img]http://www.freakscene.net/ubb/smilies/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
