Hey,
Just got the Classic Monster Collection 8 pk of DVD’s…Universal Studios…so cool you gotta check it out if you can. Includes Dracula, Frankenstein, The Wolf Man, Creature From The Black Lagoon, Phantom of The Opera, Bride of Frankenstein, The Mummy,
and The Invisible Man. All with pretty amazing documentaries included in the bonus material. On a hot sunny afternoon at Universal Studios in California way back in time a guy in a Frankenstein suit kept coming up to me and patting his stomach. I thought hmm this is odd and kept trying to go around him, he kept blocking my way and continued to pat his stomach. Having had a couple of cold beers in the hot sun I quickly deduced he was asking me to test the strength of his abs…wound up and gave him a twister punch Crusher style. My husband was on the ground laughing his brains out….Frankenstein left me alone after that one. Hey whats a dumb a** Canadian girl to think….obviously not much at that point but hey it was fun.

ps don’t try out wrestling manouvers on any fake monsters …not a good plan.
Hey Mattman,
Appreciate the help, looks like you have been putting your brainiac powers to good use!! Sounds like you definitly have the destruction of the Philosophical Zombies under control.
Not to worried about the Hollywood Zombies, seems pretty simple to deal with these kind.
I figure the Zombie Alert system would give me fair warning…a stock of generic brains from brains4zombies might be helpful as well. The Zombie that frightens me the most is the Haitian Zombie…j lopez must belong to this group…need some major fire power to deal with this type of problem. Have come up with what I feel is a fairly comprehensive plan to rid the world of this type of menace.
This whole scenario has made me think back to how the Martians were dealt with in Mars Attacks….brains turned to mush when they heard Slim Whitman. The music that the Haitian Zombies are forcing on the unsuspecting public is the antithesis of cool in every imagineable way. The plan is to rig the Zombie Alert system to play Search & Destroy by the Stooges when they detect a Haitian Zombie in close range…I can hear the sound of exploding brains now with that blast of ultra cool sounds.
Still working on the range though, do not want to end up with messy brain matter all over the place…ick.I will start testing this product soon, not to difficult to find test subjects given the current state of the music scene…sad but true. I have also been in negotiations with some lab rats at the hospital I work at…trials on an anti-zombie vaccine should start within 3 months…looking for test subjects…any suggestions???
Allison
ps check out this link if you want to be a guinea pig for science, info on clinical trials…of course these guidelines will not be followed in our anti-Zombie protocol but hey pretty cool all the same.
Hey Jeremiah,
Cool, Cool, Cool….thanks tons.

Hey Jeremiah,
Do you know if Mike’s going to post his tour diary for the last part of the 2000 tour? They were in Belgium then and I’d like to know what he thinks of it.

In ’68 after CBS bought the Fender name from Leo Fender (the originator) a few adjustments were made to many of the amps… Most notably the silver face, but the electronics were changed some too. This was in responce to the rock and roll craze of the 60’s in order to make the amps louder. However, in doing so it sacrificed some of their tone.
Silver faces are cheaper and almost as good, and if you can find a good tech you can have them "black faced" which is where a few changes are made to bring them back to pre ’68 standards (the face will still be silver though.)
If you want a really good amp that’s a little smaller than a Twin, I suggest a Deluxe-Reverb… It’s what I use. Also, Fender didn’t make a whole lot of changes to these so the silver faces are still really good. Still the closer to ’68 you can find them the better. I have a ’68 model (because I was lucky ) ’68s are identifiable by a small aluminum frame around the grill cloth…
