Hmm. That’s pretty interesting. Indian religion has probably the craziest (in a good way) music known, next to African drumming. Their drumming is ridiculous. Cool dredlocks too.
Quite a few references to God and religion in those lyrics that I hadn’t picked up on before. I know J recently went to India for a month as well.
Has he always been religious or has he just "got God"? I’ve never detected religion in his lyrics before.

Thanks for the review Mattman. I am planning on going if I can get tix before they sell out. I meant to go get them last night and forgot. They are playing in a small club (same place Watt played right before the Fog tour) called Jack Rabbits. It’s a good place to see anyone. You can easily be right up front (touching distance) and the sound is usually really good for such a small venue.
J also spoke about producing other bands, said he was basically "abusive" when he was producing and didn’t care for the person he became when he was producing for others. He followed that by saying he was thinking about how he might try again now that he is older and use a different technique, i.e. "be nice to them, maybe bring them flowers or something". Really is an awesome video, with two solo acoustic performances. Well worth the money and they ship it out quick.

Other stand out bits in the interview include where he talks about doing soundtracks…says they are easier as he doesn’t have to please himself just the director, watch the film and the songs just write themselves…not looking to become soundtrack guy like Danny Elfman just does it when asked. Also states he doesn’t even consider whether he’s viable or not, just wants to keep making music and have people listen to it. Having Same Day and Waistin to check out anytime is pretty damn cool as well. So pick it up if you can, well worth the small amount of cash.Allison

This is crazy, these people think like I do… A few days before the 2000 new year (when the world was preparing for the y2k disaster [img]http://www.freakscene.net/ubb/smilies/rolleyes.gif[/img] ) at one of my friend’s 21st birthday, some of my friends and I joked that on Jan 1st 2k, zombies were going to rise from there graves and attacks us all… We decided that the best way to defeat zombies was to scare them off with cool with cool kung-fu poses… So, we all started creating as many wild poses as we could think of… It was crazy.
