lol @ Girl
Thanks for the welcome guys and gals.
Great stuff guys. Thanks for the replies… let’s hope it gets back to J, Lou, and Murph. Give their confidence a boost before they go on tour, (if they even need it)
Thanks for sharing.
Well can’t fault a good Catholic… will you also be giving up e-mail for lent Anna? If not please drop me a line at pryan3@gmail.com so I can get some background on all these folks from MS I should know.
If not, touch base in April
Wow Anna… like I said… this state gets cooler all the time…
Actually I think MS is the best-kept-secret in the 50 states… I was just trying to keep it that way… thanks for letting the cat outta the bag! jk
Really thanks for dropping some knowledge… I’m off to research Craig Claiborne, Shelby Foote, Son House, Elmore James, and Johnny Winter.Let’s not forget to add Oprah Winfrey, Taylor Grocery Band, and Walter Anderson

I’m living in Gulfport, MS… originally from Bay St. Louis… I had several college friends from Greenville. Small world, thanks for the warm welcome!!!
My First
Forget the Swan I was 15 years old sitting on some steps overlooking Lake Junaluska, NC. We were on a church retreat and I was hangin out with the older kids bummin cigarettes and acting like I knew all about the music they were playing… my soon to be best friend popped in their self titled album and the first song as you all know was Forget the Swan… I had just been dumped by my first girlfriend and that was the song that got me over her and into Dinosaur Jr.
My Favorite
Thumb w/Mark Goodier made me cry the first time I heard it… I was on a plane coming back from NY for the first time when I was 17… I had just gotten the import $31.99 from the huge Virgin megastore in NYC (I’m from Mississippi and that was the biggest city and music store I had and have ever seen… the fact that a Dinosaur Jr import even EXISTED hadn’t occurred to me) . It was a beautiful moment… I’m getting misty just thinkin’ about it.
Alright so that’s my 2 cents… ante up kids
February 20, 2007 at 10:04 pm in reply to: How many Dinosaur Jr/J Mascis records do you own? #124456And I thought I was a fan!!! All of you have been and should be applauded!!!
I’ve just got all mass produced Dinosaur Jr CD’s and cassettes
I have had to buy a few of them more than once… hopefully J got the royalties on all of ’em
The best import ever (in my humble opinion) is the Quest (Australian Virgin) Import

So I checked out the Attic and I don’t see any link for a live podcast… don’t know much about pods and their casts so… will it be something we can look at later or am I missing the show right now?
welcome Raine… great list of bands too…
Welcome young sir… very impressed you’re a fan of Dino Jr… keep playing that guitar and you’ll be a god among men some day… (if you aren’t already)
