Lose is the best performance on the DVD.
I wish they had included Tarpit too.
Isn’t it Leah Quimby from Magik Markers?
It’s literal meaning is testicles, but somewhere along the way it also became a slang term for lies or nonsense, just like "bullshit". So, yes, it is both.
Looks like it’s just you and me… and some bots.
You CAN do this with your new amp… but beware… reverb tanks are pretty durable, but they can get damaged. It would really suck to toast the tank on your brand-new amp!
That’s the springs of a reverb tank rattling as he hits/kicks/bumps it.
My friend has that same one, and it is fantastic. My only recommendation would be adding the external momentary switch (you can build one for a few bucks) to use as the stop switch.
I’ll be at the 24th show… got the tix last night.

I worry about any guitarist who equates low price with poor quality. There are some incredibly well-built guitars in the low price ranges. You just have to know what to look for, and how to change the things that don’t measure-up (which typically are tuners and pickups, and I would end up changing those on almost ANY guitar).
Now… amps… well, that’s another story. Most (notice I said most) good-sounding amps are a bit pricey… but that doesn’t mean stupidly pricey. Also, don’t confuse size with quality. You don’t need monsterous amps to produce HUGE sound.
You know… it happens to me at almost every show… the other bands have their half-stacks and PRS guitars, and they look at me like I’m crazy when I show up with my 1×12 combo and homemade guitars and pedals. Then they hear my soundcheck… and the next thing you know they are asking me what kind of amp it is, and what kind of pedals I use. Funny how quickly their opinions change.
Thanks!
Right now I’m working on a Wah pedal and a digital delay. Also coming soon will be a Tremolo pedal, a copy of the ZVex "Super Hard On" boost, a compressor, a ring modulator, and a clone of the Boss VB-2 vibrato.
I’ve also been working on a schematic for an acoustic simulator (which still needs a good bit of work), and an analog looper similar to the Lo-Fi Loop Junky. Both of these are on the "back burner" though until I finish some of the other projects.
A few of my custom pedals…

Top row: A "triangle era" Big Muff clone, Fuzz Face clone, custom overdrive, Phase 90 modded to "Script" specs, and a "work-alike" of a certain ZVex pedal.
Bottom row: Custom distortion, Rangemaster clone, Jordan BossTone clone, TS9 modded for better tone, and re-issue BMP modded back to "version 3" specs.
I’m not sure I’ve ever heard J get through a whole song IN tune!

Why is there STILL no mention of this guitar on Fender’s website?
