Similar, but not quite the same. The LPB is a full-range boost which uses a silicone transistor. The Germania is a treble booster (it’s essentially a clone of the Dallas Rangemaster) which uses a germanium transistor (hence the name).
If you’re handy at all, a Rangemaster/Germania is not hard to build. I made mine for less than $30, and that included having the enclosure powder-coated purple.
After modding several of my pedals, I’ve now started building my own pedals. So far I’ve done a treble booster (purple in honor of J), a Big Muff clone with a few improvements, and a distortion based on the old Jordan BossTone.
I have a gig Sunday, and was thinking about doing "Been There All The Time".

I build custom augmentative speech devices for people with disabilities. They are essentially tablet-PCs that speak for people who are non-verbal (usually due to ALS, Autism, brain injury, etc.). They also have a variety of interfaces for people with physical limitations, and can bet set-up for environmental controls (for instance, tuning on/off lights, answering the phone, controlling the TV, etc.).
Before this, I worked building and programming large-scale automation for production lines in the automotive industry.
My top ten…
1. Tarpit
2. Alone
3. The Wagon
4. Repulsion
5. Sludgefeast
6. Keeblin’
7. Flying Cloud
8. Freakscene
9. Green Mind
10. ThumbWoooohoooo…. 8-track, baby!!!
j/kAt home I like to have all my favorites on my computer… makes it nice and easy to pick & choose what I want to hear.
In my car, it’s all CDs and satellite radio.
Anthony… Mountain Man is not downloading correctly. (I posted in the Help section of your forum, but figured you might see this here first.)
Thanks for getting these shows up so fast! I’m loving them!

Sadly, I won’t be able to make it to tonight’s show after all.

I’ll be looking forward to hearing it on FSF.

They have this listed several times, and all of them say you have your choice of the 4 guitars… so, what happens when more than one person chooses the same guitar?
Also, if you look at the seller’s store, they have a bunch of listings for "sexy" photos of their ex-wife and ex-girlfriend. Wait… I thought this was a woman selling her husband’s guitars? She has an ex-wife?!?!
:sniff sniff: Hmmm… I smell something fishy!
I build my own guitars. My main guitar is the "Tele" you see in my avatar.
On the pedal board (not in this order)… Big Muff, Ibanez Tube Screamer TS9DX, Small Clone, Guyatone VT-3 tremolo, Arion octave (yeah, Arion, I got it for $15 and it’s the best sounding octave pedal I’ve heard!), Boss AW-2 Auto Wah, MXR Phase 90 (modded), an old 80s MXR Time Delay analog delay, EH Holy Grail reverb. Also a Fender PT-100 tuner. A lot of these pedals are in Loop-Master true-bypass loops. Everything is powered by 2 Dunlop DC bricks, except for the Holy Grail, which uses it’s own AC adaptor.
I run it all into a Tech 21 Trademark 60 amp, and I have an ART delay in the effects loop.
