Just wondering wether anyone else tool along a friend/friends to the gig and what they thought of it as well. Obviously we are all gonna go nuts for dino, as fans, but what did neutrals/newbies think of it all?
Fantastic gig, i enjoyed it maybe a bit more than the forum gig i went to on the 8th of june.
My 2 mates who didn’t know dino that well were suitably impressed and really enjoyed themselves as well.
Saw some guy near me on the first level with a video camera but don’t know wether he was recording the whole set or not as i didn’t see it for the entire show. Had a good spot, hope he posts it on free so free.net. Meant to ask him before we left the place, never mind, fingers crossed.Don’t think it’s the end of dinosaur tho, will probably tour again i reckon!
I’m going tonight, leaving in a minute! Got two dinosaur (live!) virgins coming with me, no taping of it tho! Soz.
Yes the shirts were £15 in london and same as the above 2, no tour dates on the back tho!
There were bootleg ones outside the forum with the dates on the back and similar designs on the front only £5, tho they’ll probably shrink to the size of and hankerchief in a couple of months. Keep your eyes peeled for them i guess!Hi y’all, just wanted to comment on the above review of the Forum show (8th) from XFM as i it was the 4th and, i thought, best show i’ve seen dinosaur jr play and it’s GOT to be because of the original line-up. Even made me join the forum instead of just reading it all the time.
Took 2 mates, 1 who thought he knew little of dino’s early stuff (and is a drummer) and the other who knew little or nothing pre green mind (guitarist) both thought it was excellent. Drummer especially blown away by Murph’s ferocity and speed! Not to mention the volume of it all!!
Damn fine, hope they come back for more gig’s again soon instead of imploding!
