Eggwater-Minor T`s Out Of Step is an EP,so I did`nt include it,was it their first EP?I thought it was their second.
A Surrealist Girl-Eric`s Trip are getting back together after their break-up 5 years ago, they`re going to release a best of cd,problably on Sub Pop.They`re indie legends where I live, they`re from the next province to where I live in Canada. One of them said in an interview that the first Dinosaur Jr. album is the best album of all time.

Glad to hear dimpfelmoser defending the Mouse.
You`re right they do have good lyrics and the jams are good as well, not boring like the usual jams a band would do,if "Cowboy Dan" or "Truckers Atlas" run over 10 min ,it`s worth it.
The BTS comparison is said alot, two guys at the local college station here thought when the Mouse`s 1st record came out that MM was Built To Spill disguising themself!

            Hey Spaceboy:
To check out the Low stuff,go to Yahoo.com,scroll down to entertainment section and click on music, then click on Yahoo music, then on the left click on concert webcasts, then click on full archived list, scroll down until you get to Low.
If you have`nt watched anything at Yahoo.com before they`ll help set your computer to the right format.
Yes, I know Hayden, not too into him,he does have some good songs though.

              Hey Allison
Launch.com has those videos as well, should have mentioned that before,I don`t use their site because their membership takes so long, alot of legal stuff you have to read,if you are already a member you should`nt have no problem;they let you watch one video without joining then after that you have to join to watch any more.
I hope the quality is better than rollingstone`s site,so you may want to check that out.

                The Pumpkins are Piazzola fans.

How about this one Jaron; In a 94 interview the Pumpkins are listening to Astor Piazzola while doing the interview!

Fugazi does`nt have a record called that unless you`re talking about a different band.

                      Piazzola is not Russian!
                      Neither is Philip Glass!
                      Ira Glass I don`t know.

                        Jaron:
Fugazi are not on Iha`s record label!
I doubt they would give the Pumpkins the time of day unless Shudder To Think said to be nice to them!
Ian Mackaye founded Dischord Records in 1980 or 81.
Try my Astor Piazzola question, there is a connection!

                          Astor Piazzola

Are there two bands named Fugazi?
The one I`m talking about is from Washington,DC;one of the most well known indie bands;they`re on Discord Records.
Scratchie records?it seems unlikely someone would call their band Fugazi, knowing that another well known band has the same name.
The Pumpkins know about DC`s Fugazi!I think they toured with DC band Shudder To Think, another Dischord band.

                              Here`s some more good debuts:
                              Pavement-Slanted And Enchanted
                              Sugar-Copper Blue
                              Throwing Muses-Throwing Muses
                              Eric`s Trip-Love Tara
                              Come-Eleven Eleven
                              Bettie Serveert-Palomine
                              Son Volt-Trace
                              Mazzy Star-She Hangs Brightly
                              Black Flag-Damaged
                              Flying Saucer Attack-Flying Saucer Attack
                              Poison 13-Poison 13
                              Sweverdriver-Raise
                              Archers Of Loaf-Icky Mettle
Olivia Tremor Control-Music from the unrealized film…
                              Fugazi-13 songs(their first 2 EP`s)

I think that`s enough for now.

Oh Yeah,I was going to mention some stuff I`m listening to:
Angels Of Light-New Mother:bought this awhile ago and did`nt listen to it ,just listened to it today;this is Michael Gira`s post-Swans band, the Swans depended on distorted sound scapes, this band is largely acoustic guitar, piano, violin, accordion, etc. he kind of reminds me of Ian Curtis(Joy Division),the Swans once covered a Joy Division tune.
Bulit To Spill-Ancient Melodies From The Future:it`s not as appealing as other BTS but I still like it"The Weather"with Doug sounding closer to Neil Young`s voice then before is cool.
Cannonball Adderley-Cannonball`s Bossa Nova:kind of sunny day on a sailboat music.
Nanci Griffith-Best of:She tends to get too sentimental for my tastes sometimes, but there`s still some songs I like on this.
Weird Nightmare:Meditations on Mingus:I usually don`t like 90`s jazz except for some stuff, this is one of them;who could resist to hear Henry Rollins read some Mingus writing,Chuck D rap about a LA jazz club,Voidoids guitarist Robert Quine clang his way through a Mingus tune or ex-Beefheart guitarist Gary Lucas play Mingus`s"Haitian Fight Song"on lap steel.
