The song`s called `Winnipeg 64` and it might me on a compilation,I heard it several years ago on the radio.It has Nardwuar ranting about Neil and says in the middle refering to a Neil song as"better than anything Dinosaur jr did recently(or lately)"
I noticed on your profile you like Blonde Redhead;They`re cool.I was listening to "the melody of certain damaged lemons" the other day.wicked record!Makino sounds like a Japanese Debbie Harry(I hope you don`t mind the comparison)I guess what I was trying to say was that Evaporators song about Neil Young,Narduar mentions Dino jr as I said,did you hear this song before?I just wanted to know if he was praising J or dissing him?

He`s a canadian icon that not known enough in Canada or Americans.I checked on the Matlock site at Matlockrecords.com and they have one mp3 of the wooden stars,check it out if your interested.
Songs Ohia are cool.Can`t find their stuff where I live so I may have to mail order some of their music someday.There`s this guy in Canada;Mike Fuerstack who plays in two bands;Wooden Stars and Snailhouse has the kind of voice that Jason Molina and Will Oldham has.You might be able to check out his stuff at Matlock records site,but I don`t know if they have any mp3`s available,I`ll check it out and tell you later,you can problably buy thier music if your interested,they problably don`t have it in Holland.
A few months ago I bought a Townes Van Zandt cd,there`s this song called`sanitarium blues`;I would live to hear J cover it;it`s kind of a spoken word with music song.The other night I heard the Walkabouts cover it but I did`nt like how they did it.

"I got into punk rock in junior high,after hearing the Ramones.Before that,I had been into a lot of different classic rock bands,from Deep Purple and Aerosmith to the Beach Boys,Traffic and Derek and the Dominos.
I have to admit that,initially,I thought the Ramones were kind of a joke,but then after getting really into them,I started listening to to a lot of diffrent punk and hardcore.For a while,I only listened to hardcore bands like Discharge and I could`nt understand how I had ever listened to anything else."
