Yeah hope he comes down. I saw him when he was here last as Dinosaur Jr. I’d missed them the previous time to that as well (being short of cash whilst being a uni student). Anyway, he was awesome. I just wanted to see him play that guitar. Wow.

For me it was 1989 or 1990, and I think it was Freak Scene. But that’s not what hooked me. I bought Greenmind when it came out. On first listen, i didn’t like it. Then on the second listen it just grew on me. Now it’s one of my favourite albums. I’ve got to say that I don’t listen to Jr throughout the year, but when spring comes around here in Sydney, I don’t know what happens, and I pull Greenmind out. Happens every year. Just so happens that Spring is when i really got into Greenmind, something in the air at the time: The Wagon, Thumb, Water, Greenmind Muck geez every song on the album. And then I got Bug and Whatever’s Cool with Me in quick succession.
