Apparently Lou’s anger at J was what made him create the Sebadoh tapes. The whole basis for the band is the anti-j mascis feelings he had. That’s extreme.

My friends ‘like’ Dinosaur Jr… That’s like saying Jimi Hendrix is ‘okay’. They just don’t get it. I tell ya, kids today don’t know what good music is.

All the bands I’m into directly result from Cobain saying they were good. Screaming Trees, Mudhoney, Dinosaur Jr and the like. I don’t think I even conciously decided to listen to these bands because of Kurt, it just happened. My life would be so different if Kurt never talked about such bands.

It says he’s playing. Should be cool. Hope he’s better at debating than being interviewed….

Mine is a quote from the movie ‘Snatch’, a Guy Ritchie film with Brad Pitt and some British guys. Possibly one of the greatest movies ever. In it, there is a guy who disposes of bodies by feeding them to pigs (he’s a gangster type guy) and these two guys are contemplating what will happen if the man they arranged to fight in a boxing match doesn’t ‘go down in the 4th’ like instructed.

I only have about 100 cds and countless vinyl inherited by my dad. Only been buying cds for three or so years now on account of my youngness of 16, so I guess that’s not bad for a few years.

Yeah… I guess your right, although I think they (STP) were kinda well recieved at the FV DC show i was at(where you there Jaron? ). Pearl Jam says it won’t tour until 2003 btw, which isn’t excactly never again. Most likely this will end up as: Korn, Limp Bizkit, Creed, Sum 41. Yay.. I get the feeling Lolopololaza (cant spell) wasn’t such a great thing for DJ, since Murph left after it. I’d doubt that J would do it. Good list would be STP, Metallica, Pearl Jam (?) and the like. Doubtful it’ll be like that

STP-Shangri la de da. I assume GBV and Nebula and such bands are better, but you try going to a store in Northern Virginia and finding a record by anyone except Nysnc and Britney Spears. Oh, and there’s Ear Bleeding Country.

it just goes to show that usually when a journalist gives a bad review he doesnt like the band, and is never going to like them no matter how good they perform</strong><hr></blockquote>
It’s so true…and I read these journalist bashing posts and feel like I’m being attacked even though I’m only on a high school paper…alls I know is if I ever got to interview J I’d ask him some great questions. I remember the Guitar Center interview back in June mispelled every song and album and they asked questions like they were simply trying to find out who the hell he was.
Oh well, someday when I’m a real journalist I won’t suck that much i hope.
